Wasn't expecting to make this massive U-turn but when the opportunity came along to bag an XM Iron Man MK42 statue for less than retail then I just couldn't turn it down and in any case....what sort of Iron Man fan would I be if I also left out their MKVII piece aswell!

Yep, its official...Andy is no longer an XM virgin

It was always something I had in the back of my mind but needed that certain something to make get off my arse and actually order something from them...and it was always gonna be Iron Man! So when a fellow freak mentioned to me that he had the MK42 pre order for sale, which incedentley had already sold out, that right there was the catalyst I needed and within minutes of finding out that there were only 3 left of the Iron Man MKVII statue, I found myself ordering another XM piece Oh well, they say the best comes to those who wait...and I certainly left it to the last minute!

If I thought my pre order list couldn't get any worse these bad boys can all be added to the list!!!!

No doubt Andy, once XM said there Spidey line was a go, Doc Oct was my number 1 villain.

I also need to read up on comics, been collecting a bunch of Wolverine TPB that I am gonna read soon

Have you seen that bronze Spidey painted in his original blue and red bro?!! man it looks unbelievable!!! Cant remember who painted it but wow! what a difference! Think the same person did the same paint apps for the bronze Wolverine too!!!

LOL Spidey and Wolverine are the two that I can get multiples of without much questioning. Do you have any characters where there is almost no limit? I also had no idea the faux bronze was 1/4. If XM is your first 1/4, that will be a great start

Hey all, really excited about this update as it's based on one of my favourite themes in collecting and that is 80's cartoons and once again its G1 Transformers So you all know that I currently have the 2 very large statues of Optimus Prime and Megatron...

Well, next year will see a new release in the world of 1/2 scale G1 pieces and a new project which will see the return of Optimus Prime but this time in a more classic museum pose than the previous design I have. This particular new look is basically the one I've wanted all along and have been in close contact with the guys at Infinity Creative Designs (the guys who are building him) and have been offering my points of view and ideas after they were so impressed with the way I customised my original statues from their original battle damaged state to a more animated G1 look

The new Prime will feature a removable light up 'Matrix of Leadership', which will be inside his chest, a light up plasma rifle like the original statue I have and this time a light up glow axe is also added for good measure.

and a look at the head difference of the new Prime sculpt on the left and the original design on the right

Inspired by the company Prime 1, ICD have made sure that this new Prime statue will be made with tons more detail and more accuracy to the G1 animated look than its predecessor and early indications from their WIP pics clearly show this...I present to you all the new G1 Optimus Prime

Standing a whopping 50.5" tall, this new Prime is over 8" taller than my original Prime statue Pre Orders are now underway for this beast so by all means if anyone is interested or wanting more details then feel free to shoot me a PM. All going well, this statue will be shipping in the first QTR of 2015 (approx. February)

Thanks Mark I'm a massive fan of the 80's cartoons so if I could get a statue made from all my favourites ones then that would be amazing!! Already have Thundercats, Transformers and He-Man covered...now bring me some M.A.S.K, Bravestarr, Dungeons and Dragons and Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors
