Ive been dragging my feet a long long time, lol.. only recently gotten into pf's. Started with 1/6 but have come to appreciate a good statue over a hot toys, well that and the hike in hot toys prices helped make the jump lol

LD is still cheap less than retail, vampi I still like the original better. The Mark Newman sculpt is so awesome with the stunning ex head. In my opinion the original is one of the best female statues ever made.

I only see them at 400 or so. I wouldnt say retail pricing. Still a bit of a hike.

Hourglass is cool, but isn't what sells it for me. If I can get a decent price on either, I wouldn't really care TBH.

Just be patient and check the bay. The last one sold at 208.00 on eBay. So the deals are there. Just wait for them to show up. If your looking for a reg, I'm sure you can find a great deal. The other regs ended at about 310.00. All completed auctions. Check it's going prices. They sure aren't going for crazy prices.

Yea, that was a steal, though shipping was quite high. I would try and hold out for an EX though, the hourglass is very cool and you can display it on the base if you want to use the sword too.

I was thinking of making it into like a bracelet or something so she would also have both. I mean I lean more to exclusive but it'd be good either way.

Yea, it would just be price dependent. It is a cool EX, but probably not worth more than $40-50 premium. I got lucky and found a deal here on the forums after I had to send my original EX back to SS for multiple issues. Just keep an eye out, they pop up once in a while for a reasonable price.

Yeah I know what you mean, I return mine to SS for a replacement and then the replacement was damage with some repairs and paint over spots on it. So I contacted them again but they didn't want to give another. So I return her since I could not get a new one. They only offer me a package deal to replace my broken sword but I must agree to keep the cracked finer on the other damage part. So I didn't keep it unless I can get a new statue.

That was me that got that deal! (Was actually $207.50)

Shipping was pretty reasonable, actually a great seller. He let a Storm go way under retail that same week. I really should not have bought LD, but at that price didnt expect to win and did. Had no room in my budget for it, and am supposed to be keeping to PO only stuff (job up in the air) but couldn't pass up such a steal. Also shipped it out lightning fast. Also taped the styro back together (If you ever ship a statue, re-tape your styro people!)

I did REALLY want the hourglass though. I think it's a brilliant EX. But for that kind of discount, the Reg does just fine. Really love it, very heavy, solid, well made piece.

Have seen lots of SS stuff going under retail lately. Wish I had the funds to be more active. Bet it continues through the holidays. Same goes for the prevous Vampi. Seen some deals there too. But I like this one well enough to eventually PO it. Need the bat though. Maybe next month with a coupon (I am with you on making full use of the coupons to knock down the amount).
