Re: RobertoBagg10's Display Thread 'NEW UPDATE' SSC IRON MAN MKVII LSF AVENGERS ASSEM

Andy, I have to admit, the LSF is looking nice. Looks like you got a good one!

Re: RobertoBagg10's Display Thread 'NEW UPDATE' SSC IRON MAN MKVII LSF AVENGERS ASSEM

Great pics Andy, the MK VII looks fabulous. You have restored my faith in this piece & as a result I'll be keeping my order for this and will turn down a pending deal I had on the MK III LSF.

Re: RobertoBagg10's Display Thread 'NEW UPDATE' SSC IRON MAN MKVII LSF AVENGERS ASSEM

Really nice, though I still prefer the war machine LSF! Amazing collection.

Re: RobertoBagg10's Display Thread 'NEW UPDATE' SSC IRON MAN MKVII LSF AVENGERS ASSEM

Plus I got it for $800 altogether so that's even more of a result :yess: Yea, Deadpool will definitely be a keeper :exactly: I'm amazed that I cancelled my order when it first got released...what was I thinking! :slap It's here now so that's all that matters! ;)

That is a steal for everything you get :hi5: Exactly, we both have it and that is all that matters :exactly:

I must say Andy, when it comes to taking your pieces to the next level, you can really come up with some crazy ideas. I think your custom display will be spectacular :) I'm glad everything came out well bro :clap Can't wait to see it once you get the custom display and with the lights on :thud:

So are you like the world's foremost Iron Man collector?

Insane collection!

Re: RobertoBagg10's Display Thread 'NEW UPDATE' SSC IRON MAN MKVII LSF AVENGERS ASSEM

Awesome Andy....StarK:hi5:

RobertoBagg10's Display Thread 'NEW UPDATE' SSC IRON MAN MKVII LSF AVENGERS A...

Looks great and the presence generated by these1/2 scale pieces cannot be underestimated (especially when your wife gives over a room for that custom display lol lol). BUT beginning to think like others for the money theses pieces should be even better in regard to paint app and the QC perfect sideshow. Really glad you got a good one buddy...I know it's especially hard for us UK buyers to sort out a problem with these massive pieces but I do wish the QC consistency was there for all the bros outs there lol wherever they are based. Doom I am sure will have the presence of a truly phenomenal sculpt in 1/2 scale and I am truly tempted BUT I know I can't trust SS to create armour that looks like metal instead of painted plastic....so no order until I can be clear on the QC inhand....

Plus locking up a lot of cash in XM at present lol where I know I will get something close to prototype out of the box. Getting THANOS ... I know your interested ?...

Thanks Adam my friend :)

Sent from the Cockpit of the Millenium Falcon

Hey Caesar, yea...its hopefully gonna look pretty cool once the HOA display is complete and inhand :) really exciting project not to mention a very expensive project also :thud: ;)

Looks great Andy. I hope to god mine comes with no damage :( i haven't kept a sideshow statue in years.

Thanks Dom :hi5: Yea, I really hope yours comes through with no QC issues buddy. I'm still hearing a lot of collectors on facebook that are having trouble with the light features, weak magnets and not being able to fit their Iron Man legs into the pegs in the base...so there's still a lot of issues still going on with this particular piece...which for a $2K piece is disgraceful imo! :lecture

:thud:
That my friend is one of the most beautiful pieces I have yet seen :love

Congrats bud! :clap That is some serious presence and those LEDs have given it a massive badass look. I will say that Hall of Armour will simply be the greatest thing anyone could witness! :panic:

And beautiful shots, glad it came in perfect condition, I know I would've had a heart attack if the LEDs didnt turn on :lol

Cannot wait to see that armoury! Good job my friend!
:rock:rock:rock:rock:rock

Very kind post my friend and very much appreciated, thank you :1-1: I have to say that although I'm not a stranger to the LSF line, its still amazes me each time I see a new one and this particular MKVII is no exception...from the moment I walk into the room and see it on display its absolutely mindblowing and I just want to take as many pics of it as possible! :lol :lol

Breathtaking. Congratulations again Andy. A great addition to a wonderful collection . Can't wait till mine arrives :)

Thanks Nabil :hi5: always a pleasure to hear from you buddy :) Wishing you a speedy delivery for yours bro and I hope my pics have made you a little more excited...;)

Cool display idea. So glossy the foto on the right

Thanks Pau :)

The light up arc reactor is removable?

Hey Nick, you think for $2K it would be! :lol :lol Unfortunately not though...this AR is permanent I'm afraid :(

Superb set up!

Thanks so much my friend :clap

That looks amazing. I'm glad I don't have the room for these or I would be selling blood to buy them.

:lol :lol great post Dave :clap It certainly isn't cheap i'll give you that but boy is it like living in a toy museum! :thud: :lol

Nice looking booklet, you would actually think that is a suit prop from the movie going by those pics.

Re: RobertoBagg10's Display Thread 'NEW UPDATE' SSC IRON MAN MKVII LSF AVENGERS A...

Okay guys, the moment you've all been waiting for :lol :lol so last night I got to ride on the crest of heavenly wave and finally assemble my Iron Man MKVII LSF :woo In the end I got so wrapped up in just staring at this piece that I completely forgot what the time was...I think it was nearly half past midnight that I actually took the last pic :thud:

Once all assembled, my heart skipped a beat as I placed my finger on the switch which turned on the light features...and it one instant flick...the lights came on instantly and all was well with the world again! :yess:

So with that out of the way, I reflected on how much fun it was putting this guy together. I followed the pictured instructions as per the booklet provided and I began to build Iron Man from the bottom to the top. First the base, then the legs, followed by the torso and arms and then lastly the head...what was most fun was attaching the magnetic removable armour pieces. These pieces just literally lept out of my hand once the magnets had attracted and the overall look of the suit began to take shape.

Once complete and fully assembled, it was time to sit back and admire what was to be my most anticipated piece of the year...and I wasn't left disappointed! This was my 6th half scale statue that I own and I still get goosebumps each time I see them! They are the gems and centre pieces of my collection and I just wished I had my very own mancave to display them all in the way the I would like...hopefully one day eh? and still I have the Dr Doom LSF arriving later this year :thud:

So for added effect for my MKVII LSF pics, I added my customary LED rope around the base to give it that extra finishing touch...I know I received a few PM's and questions posted on the threads regarding where to buy these LED ropes, so here is the link guys ;)

https://www.ebay.com/itm/power-led-..._Lights_Fairy_Lights&var=&hash=item4d23fde924

So to summarise, this LSF looks like a beauty but has the presence of a beast (hahahaha....) it's a welcomed addition to my collection that I will never tire of looking at or owning and I am so grateful to have the opportunity to own it (thank you wifey...mwah!) :love :love

Hope you enjoy the pics guys and as ever, thanks for being patient and for your amazing comments :wave :bow

So for now, this piece has to retire back into its box for a shortwhile until my custom Hall of Armour background is completed and ready to ship. It's going to be the most I've ever spent on a display before so I'm hoping the final results will be just as amazing as what I have pictured in my head

The LED lights rope that wrap around the base really makes this piece pop out. I am glad this time around they managed to put him into some type of pose, similar to Kotobukiya's Mark III one. The Mark III LSF just looked like a suit of armor as there was practically no pose to it at all. Looks like the booklet didn't disappoint as this just looks like the one in the booklet and thus, looks like a prop from the movie. Congrats Andy! :clap

Re: RobertoBagg10's Display Thread 'NEW UPDATE' SSC IRON MAN MKVII LSF AVENGERS ASSEM

very nice!! are you planning to do any custom paint job on this one? I can only imagine how awesome a battle damage version would look like
