It's a million times better than the new one...I'll give you that, but second best? I don't know about that. Which costume is #1?

Flash is yet to have a decent representation in live action.

What's sad is that the new suit can be greatly improved with some minor tweaks.

I think the Amazing Spiderman 2 costume is up there in the top 3, imo. It's flawless.

That and because it was the past.

It's a 2011 movie and the actual hero costume is realistic.
The point is USO costume was an intentional joke and not something anyone should bring to the discussion of superhero costumes in modern cinema.

but because a design fits a certain character/conditions doesn't mean it fits all.

I never said it should. Batman looks best in all black w/o briefs, Cap looks great in realistic yet blue-red-white suit, Black Widow looks perfect in tights... wait, I'm lost. D'oh!

I'd keep the chin strap, I dig chin straps, but yeah they can get rid of the helmet lines.

Texture is just right, not excessive.

With that color manip and maybe a little tighter, it could look great.

And the red chest logo is the biggest flaw of all.

Did you do that? Great job on the edit! Unfortunately I don't think the new Flash show will be for me. I can't stand Arrow, but I enjoyed Smallville a lot, and I know many hate it, so to each their own. I just loved Michael Rosenbaum's Lex and John Glover's Lionel Luthor.

Flash is actually a lot more lighthearted than Arrow and has a lot less "soap-y" drama.

The pilot leaked ages ago and it was pretty good.
