Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Why not cut his d*** off when they were having sex?

Good point. Bane and Talia's plan is kinda retarded. As soon as she got the company and bomb in her possession, she should have cut of castrated Bruce, revealed her plan (they got da bomb and all of his ****), then send him to the pit.

I wouldn't have the will to climb out of that hole if I found out the woman I trusted and slept with betrayed me and I got my **** chopped off. That's be worse than getting your back broken and you couldn't move for well over 5 months!

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Batman Returns, he's suspicious of Shreck and Penguin from the start.
Well, he'd be pretty stupid if he wasn't suspicious of this.

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

After watching Cap kick ass in TWS, TDKR is crap.

Then again, very few action scenes compare to that. New standard that Cap 2 set.

Even Keaton looked cooler than Bale fighting.

Man Cap2 fights make everything else look like clumsy pump it up dance moves. :lol

I'm fairly sure we're gonna get decent fight scenes with Batfleck though.

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

You could argue that he did have his Batcave jacked and helped create a weapon that could destroy Gotham in the later movies, though. I'm pretty sure some components of that Freeze canon were manufactured by Wayne Enterprises, weren't they?:lol

Yeah, but that's Clooney Batman's fault.

Keaton Wayne wasn't like Kilmer, Clooney or Bale. He didn't have any employees to piss off, any freeze telescopes to build or nuclear bombs to give away. He pretty much just sat up in his study waiting for the batsignal to go on.

Dedicated

BTAS Batman was the best though. Not only did he balance his Batman persona, he was great at being Bruce Wayne and running a company too. Well, until Clayface frames his ass and Lucius Fox got scared/butt hurt.

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

If Keaton got his cut off he would still fight crime as Batgirl, he wouldn't give a crap, that boy was insane.

Dedicated.

Fingers crossed.

I hope he doesn't spin on a ceiling fan though. :lol

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

- foiled his Smylex scheme by cracking the code (didn't need no Lucius Fox btw)
- blew up his factory, eliminating the production of the poison
- stole his balloons
- killed him

The only thing he ****ed up with was his stupid batarang. It's his fault that he was framed for the woman's death and he couldn't even save her from falling to her death (he sort of just watches and is cool with it until Gordon's men shoot him in the chest). Still, at least he didn't get his Batcave jacked, help build a bomb, and let the city go to shut down for 5 months.

Yes, he solved the smilex problem HE created after hundreds of people were dead. He destroyed private property when he bows up the factory. Stole his balloons, but technically that doesn't stop the poison from spreading (movie logic). Batman kills the joker, but he's not supposed to kill...but that's a whole different argument.
He didn't get batcave jacked, but he took an unknown female reporter to his batcave because he had a hardon for her...and then he raped her :lol...Well...maybe he didn't..but it kinda looked that way.

As far as Returns, I didn't mention it, just what he did in 89 Batman.

And the Arkhamverse Batman too.

Those 2 are the best representations of Batman outside the comics.

Wouldn't happen. He made sure he got Vicki Vale drunk before he went to work on her, remember? Alfred didn't raise no fool. Probably slipped some roofies in her soup for good measure.

Keaton would have sedated Talia before sex and would have known she was Ra's Al Ghul while screwing her anyway. She wouldn't have a chance. By the time Bane caught up with Bruce, he'd find a bomb strapped to his chest and be nothing but a smoking goatsie/tarantula mask thing.

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Didn't Batman get his batmobile carjacked by the Penguin and in the process he destroyed a bunch of police patrols in Batman Returns? That wasn't very Batman either...oh and by the end of the film he still wanted to be with catwoman, a crazy b***** who stabbed him and tried to killed him...that story sounds familiar :lol

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Yeah, when I think about it, none of the current film Batmen have been very productive or intuitive when it comes to their city.

Maybe Affleck-Man will change that.

Well, at least we know Keaton Batman was a sexual deviant.

:lol :lol :lol

Man, this was one of the best Batman discussion nights in quite some time. :lol

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

I consider him to be in a league of his own.

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Batman and Robin would beat them, especially Bane.

I read an article recently on IGN that makes me think Batffleck will be a more proactive batman than Bale. I don't want to go into detail because the article even warned that the content was very spoilerish.

I never did the math on how long Bale actually was batman, but 11 months is pretty ridiculous. I do think it's unfair to compare Bale's bats to previous batmen so directly though. Nolan's films were based so much in reality that a life time of fighting crime full time as batman would be to much for one man. Though I really wish they had not had batman completely retire after the dark knight, and instead just had him dial back his presence in Gotham. I know they "didn't need him" but crime still goes on even if a super villain isn't trying to blow up the city. I also find it hard to stomach that batman would go in to isolation and wallow in self pity because his "mite be girlfriend" got killed. It wasn't like Rachel was an innocent bystander, she was interim District Attorney then whatever in the dark knight, but point is she put her self in danger. Also, didn't Bruce Wayne's parents get murdered in front of his eyes. I just expect batman to have a little more tolerance to tragedy in his life.

If anything the Nolan batman films at least reignited interest in batman to full thrusts. I'm hoping BvsS keeps some of the reality based ideas for batman but also brings back some of the crazyness that can only be explained by "BECAUSE I'M BATMAN". In a universe with a man who can fly, shoot lasers from his eyes, and bullets literally bounce of; I think we will need a batman far less based in reality in order to seem relevant.
