Damn, after a lot of thinking I've decided to let this one pass...I love the statue but I don't want a stand alone IM, I want something that goes along well with my cap and future avengers (only hawkeye for now lol) so i'll just wait for XM to announce a cool comic version IM (don't disappoint me guys)!

He'll more than likely be going up for pre-order along with Hawkeye at SGCC in September. He will be the 6th statue in the XM line to be released (more than likely). It's possible they could push Hawkeye ahead of him, but I doubt it.

I'm not seeing an elongated or thin helmet here - looks perfect to me.

I do think there needs to be a little more detailing (maybe fine outline in black?) done below the neck on the silver part, otherwise I'm lovin' it!

This looks amazing. I also love their MKXLII...i think the museum pose on that is pretty badass plus the paint looks excellent so far, but this one...THIS ONE, MAN

I would like to add that with a beautifully designed reactor and hand/foot repulsors that it's a crime there's no light up feature.

You don't think this goes with the XM Cap? I know one is movie and one is comic, but since there is no stark/RDJ head sculpt I feel like it will fit in fine.

I think this is a solid universal look. Most people don't even know there is different Iron Man suits

I think their bases are far too different, can't picture them side by side... If i had some spare money I'll definitely buy it though, but as it is now picking one statue would mean discarding another, so I'll let this one go and hope I don't have to eat my words when more side to side pics come out haha.

With extended red infill...



The movie pics show this red area to be 'squared-off' versus Sideshow's rounded design.

Agree it would look better with more dark detailing in the silver area below the neck.

Well yeah they are! I just mean so that their customers can keep up! Not many people are going to be able to buy what, 8 $800 statues inside of a few months.

Very different, this is detailed like a replica prop.
