re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

A few tidbits from the Star Wars Collectors Panel:

Q: How about a bounty hunter series for Sideshow 1/6-scale?
A: We'd love to continue doing these. We are huge fans of the bounty hunters.

Q: For eFX Yoda Puppet, is it an actual puppet?
A: The one displayed on the floor is actually half-and-half (solid resin head). We are investigating materials to make it an actual puppet (that doesn't deteriorate).

Q: How big will the GG Jumbo Jabba be?
A: Perfectly in scale with the other Jumbo figures. It'll be big.

Q: Less Clone Troopers, more Stormtroopers for Sideshow?
A: Yes.

Q: Did you work with puppeteers in the creation of the eFX Yoda puppet?
A: Not yet, we are still in the investigative phase of the puppet details.

Q: Is the Sideshow Mythos line done?
A: We need to figure out long-term plans for that line, including things we aren't able to show yet.

GG mentioned jumbo Jabba AND throne!

All answers I like. The Mythos line will be a while, but they were so good I'm willing to wait!

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

The Mythos question contradicts the McQuarries being part of the Mythos line...

The thread someone started in the statue forum said it's called the McQuarrie Artist Series. Maybe it's something different.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Give us a deluxe Stormtrooper set with multiple helmets. :yess:

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Now I have to decide if I want to keep the GG busts for my McQuarrie pieces or go with these? :gah:

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Barry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How are you????????????

Real good rich. Just busy as hell all the time. I landed a real good position at work but it comes with anywhere from 9 to 16 hours a day. So, busy but happy........:)

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

So happy to see that the Batman TV series will be coming out in seasons (3) as well as the complete series. 200 bucks with all that extra swag is too much, IMO... 40 a season will be perfect though! Will save me 80 bucks in the long run. :)

Ah OK. I guess McQuarrie in a sense is like Mythos anyway, since they didn't happen like that in the films...

Anyone in here read The Star Wars comics, with Lucas's original vision? I got a nice hardcover compendium yesterday for only $15. It's $28.51 at Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/The-Star-War...tmm_hrd_title_0?ie=UTF8&qid=1406325544&sr=8-1
I have an extra to sell. I offer it up to any of the regulars in here, but first dibs go to anyone who is getting Lego 3D from me. That way they can ship together. Post if you're interested. First Lego person gets it, otherwise the first non-Lego person gets it... If nobody wants it, well, I'll be shocked, cuz it's totally friggin awesome! It's in great condition too, and I'll wrap it in bubble wrap...

That's great to hear, B! :rock I've been swamped here at work too. Barely ever anytime to post or anything anymore.

I'm interested if no Lego interest.

Hmmm... I think I still want the complete series. I'll find a way to get it for $100. I usually do...

Was I supposed to order Lego 3D for you??? :monkey3
OK, done deal. Sorry, Slynger. It makes it easier to ship for me, plus is a bonus for someone who had to wait a lot longer than I expected to get their Lego Movie...
I MAY be able to get more. I have to check. I'll post if I do.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Bummer, I've been interested in reading this series... wish I'd known it was $15 yesterday. $28 seems like a good deal, but not if I know it was $15 :lol

So is the series done, or is this just a hardcover of the first part of it. The description on Amazon wasn't real detailed.

I didn't see the info. $40 a season isn't bad at all. I'm in!!!

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I'm happy you guys are getting all this high-end stuff but I'm even happier that I couldn't care less about 99.5% of it. :)

Same here.......and what sucks is that my work blocks me signing on to this site.............I can view most areas but cant post anything. Im relegated as a lurker...........:monkey2

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Seems nothing from the collectors panel is going to be a purchase for me... man I miss the old days when Sideshow would share WIP photos and other cool stuff. I remember just about loosing my **** when the showed the sculpt for the 1/6 Gammy.

Looks like it is complete. Here is info from another site:
Bringing together the entire story arc, this hardcover edition includes issues #1-#8 and the special issue #0, which features previously unpublished designs and comics pages.

You won't find it yourself for $15. I have a special source. And no, unfortunately you aren't able to place an order on your own. I see that I CAN get more. But I must get at least 3 to get the quantity discount. So, if 3 or more people want it, I will order more. But you must COMMIT to getting it. No backing out. Cuz I can't return it unless I refuse the package, meaning nobody else would get it.
So, post if you want me to get them. Even with Media Mail shipping, it should be way cheaper than Amazon...
For other Lego movie peeps, I can wait to ship the movie if you want to combine with the book. Your choice. The books would take up to 2 weeks to arrive.
