I was forced to completely undress my TFA Cap today because the left arm wouldn't bend at all, not even a millimeter, and when I tried to push it too hard it came out of its socket. I was worried that it might actually be broken, so in order to find out I removed the uniform and became intimately acquainted with how the uniform works (for instance: his belt did not want to separate at the buckle, but rather at one of the leather ends) and I found that the shirt is actually pretty roomy. With the zipper undone all the way there's a ton of room in there, and this Cap already has some pretty big arms and a decent sized chest. I assume the chest on the next one will be even bigger, but I remain hopeful that I can actually zip this shirt up on him. What makes it seem so tight is the padding that's glued on to the shoulders and arms. Also, the pants are longer than I thought: first, they're rolled up at the cuffs, and second, they fit pretty high up on his waist and can stand to be pushed down a bit. And his legs have the thigh extenders that give them massive extra muscle.

So I've decided to keep this Cap figure undressed and use the uniform instead for the upcoming two-pack, as putting the uniform back on looks to be a time-intensive endeavor and I only want to have to do it once. I'll use the TFA body for some other character once I go headsculpt shopping on ebay--maybe a Harvey Dent, as all he needs is a standard men's suit to go with the headsculpt.

That sounds like my first few hours of owning this figure (neither elbow was bending at all). The belt does have a (kinda weak) magnet in the buckle to keep it closed; it's just also glued shut and requires some work to undo. The chest part of the top did seem a bit roomy, but it was harder to put the top back on than it should've been, precisely because of those stiff shoulder pads (and I had even undone most of the glue). After taking the uniform off and putting it back once, I'm not itching to do it again anytime soon, so I'll keep an eye open for how your body swap goes. Here's hoping for the best!

Thinking about canceling this set. I think there are other pieces I'd rather get this year. Still think the figures look great but I can get a PF instead for a little more $$. Decisions, decisions.

Same here, been thinking about nixxing these along with the GA Cap and DW LA Thor. That will free up a lot of funds for the XM pieces coming :lol

However, I plan on keeping my Winter Soldier po. Gotta have my villains! :balrog

I actually ended up completely removing the entire shoulder-pad assembly, from the shoulders and the back and even the red stripes in front. It's one huge separate piece that's glued on the shoulders, arms, chest and abdomen. So now I'll be able to easily tell whether or not the shirt can fit the upcoming figure (and if it can't, I'll cry.) The one thing I'm least looking forward to is trying to reattach the arm buckles; they all came undone and I have no idea if I should just glue them back together or if I should actually try to rebuckle them. Well, I have about six months before that particular ordeal anyway.

I have to say though, that futzing around with bodies and outfits and even kitbashing new figures is part of the fun of this hobby for me. Turning Selina Kyle into a Vampire Slayer was a lot more fun than just looking at Catwoman on my shelf. Reminds me of my old Mego days. Next up: The Superman Dilemma. I'll probably just purchase a Reeve head to put on top of the MOS figure, but as people in the MOS thread know, I'm obsessed with fixing that figure's proportions. At this point it's my white whale.

So umm. October right? I gotta say that this set and Bucky are my most anticipated releases his year.

Why Nix them now though? You could get them in and just resell. I have aready seen LA Thor go for 350 and higher on ebay. I'm pretty sure GA caps price could go up a little bit too.

Cancelled my order. Too many other pieces coming out that I'd rather have and a ton due for release in the next couple months. The figures look great but I don't need them for my collection. It's finally happening--I'm prioritizing for interest and space.

I contemplated cancelling too to get the Rocket/Groot set, but realized how much I LOVE TWS and that by buying the GotG 2 pack I would also have to buy the rest of the team. Too much money for me at this time.

Glad I didn't commit to buying this set. The more I think about it a civilian Steve Rogers isn't that necessary. If anything I'll just get the Stealth Suit Cap and call it good. That or wait for the Age of Ultron figure.

I'm just getting the Stealth suit......and I'll be getting the AoU version.......I am so weak :ohbfrank:
There's stuff in this set I'd like, mainly the Rogers head sculpt, the empty helmet, and the battle damaged shield but overall I don't need it. The Stealth Suit is cool so I might get it but haven't decided yet.
