I'm disappointed :( The same old inaccurate sculpt :lol The paint is better and they re-sculpted the hairline and the costume is a lot better, and the accessories a nice, but that head sculpt is awful and outdated. What were they thinking?

That there are thousands of collectors old and new that didn't get the first version.

Seriously, though, this repaint **** is pretty much now pushing HT into the overpriced Mattel/Hasbro category. Whether the new sculpt was good or bad, at least we used to be able to look forward to a new sculpt. Now "let's repaint Reeve Superman, let's repaint DX 12 Bruce Wayne, let's repaint Bank Robber Joker, and let's act like they're getting something brand new." What the **** happened to you, Howard? This isn't about being pissed off by releases; at this point, like I said before, they're gonna do what they're gonna do, but Jesus, at least take some pride in what you do; at least enough so that you're not, literally, riding the coat tails of your former self. It's kind of sad.:lol

At least re sculpt the scars so that they are movie accurate....the scars on the original sculpt were to messy and inaccurate. They resculpted the hair line, at least go all the way.

It's about the bottom line. Howard likely isn't concerned with appeasing the vocal collector community- he's concerned with putting out things that WILL sell.

A lot of people didn't have the opportunity to get ANY Ledger Joker so DX11 and this is welcomed.

Well, I suppose the sculpt doesn't really matter since, considering the diorama and the extra smoke grenade, HT wants you to display your $200+ collectible friggin' backwards.:lol

But why would anyone want to spend $230+ on an outdated figure with no worthy updates whatsoever? Even if you didn't get the first version, it makes no sense.

The DX 11 was an amazing package, it actually justified it's existence by offering an updated great figure for those who didn't get the first DX.

Stupid.

I've seen plenty of collection photos with the 1.0 BRB posed with the back facing forward. It's how we were first introduced to the Joker.

Way back when, I only planned to get the V1 Joker (purple coat) in the first place. The ONLY reason I bought Bank Robber V1 was for the much improved sculpt. Even at the time, I felt a little annoyed that they didn't get it right the first time. I never got the DX01 because I had little interest in it's new features (or the cop costume). I did the get DX11, but I justify that as being significant enough of an upgrade with the tailoring improvement and accessories, and the table + chair etc. Plus I had that interrogation room made by some third-party company, so it just made sense for me to put it all together for an awesome display.

I've got no need for another Joker that doesn't add anything significantly new and interesting.

Because that is the typical price point now. I don't know why some people pay that much for the Predator releases but you know what I don't do?

Go on the Predator threads and whine about it.

We won't know until in hand pics but from the looks of it, V1 holds up quite well to this. The Tailoring is the only needed change. The head they used was just lazy, they could have given us a new headsculpt for a toyfair exclusive, you'd think that's what makes it EXCLUSIVE, but nope...all recycled. This is a perfect chance to share my V1 pictures :)

Actually, the backdrop cracks me up even more because they couldn't even get the right image for the scene they wanted. All that dust is clearly from the moment when Grumpy gets wasted, so, for all intents and purposes, that display base is for your kit bashed Grumpy, while Joker stands to the far right pointing at his watch; suddenly the DX 11 Exclusive makes so much more sense.:lol
