So I have a question about a Great Saiyaman Figuarts

How would they do the cape without peg holes?

They could do like the saint seiya figures from tamashii; holes in the back but with a replaceable back piece to hide said holes. Works quite well from what ive seen of them.

I actually think starting an SH Figuarts collection thread, just for all sh figures stuff, would be pretty cool!

@Blood yeah you know I think I don't like this type of articulation style for it. I think I'm gonna stick to star wars, I like the classic action figure feel of it as I buy it out of nostalgia. And then there's mafex too. Somewhat annoyed by all these companies making the same characters. Kinda useless.

But I hope it'll take the pressure of black series and make those figures cheaper. Cause a few more favs in that line and I'll be done.

What do we do if character versions tie? I'm not gonna litter this whole forum with polls upon polls and create pollception...

Apart from that, when I make the final poll I'm blatantly gonna state the winning versions with utter disregard to how small the gap might be... Whatever wins is gonna be it...

The polls are indefinitely though so, no idea really when to make the final poll. Probably after the sdcc reveal at the least.

I don't know if you guys already know about this but someone mentioned the tamashii poll that included Great Saiyaman in it so I did some digging and found it pretty quickly (I don't have a facebook so I am just using this toyark article as a source, https://news.toyark.com/2011/12/02/new-tamashii-nations-sh-figuarts-dragon-ball-z-poll-5070) Among GS are Android 18, Normal Goku, Krillin, Frieza, Cell, and Saiyan Vegeta. All of which have been released (Or will be very soon in the case of Android 18) with the exception of Great Saiyaman perhaps implying that GS, who I think was the least voted for, is up for release quite soon. Take from this what you will, but I think this shows he might be shown off relatively soon, maybe we'll see a prototype at SDCC. This is, of course, pure speculation based on recent releases, but I think given the evidence he could very well be released early next year. By the way, I apologise if this has ever been brought up before on this forum, but I felt it was relevant and, to my recollection, has never been mentioned before.

Damn, that's a cool find man! However, a lot has changed in 3 years, but it clearly adds to the notion that great saiyaman is very much on their radar.

And to my surprise it's edging out ultimate gohan in our poll as well.

Yeah I hope so, I immediately regretted choosing Ultimate Gohan on your poll when I realised it could be made with a simple goku head swap! I'll be happy with whichever they decide to release first anyway!

I recommend adding Broly after all, he's way less sure than kid buu and it's without a shadow of a doubt the majority wants kid buu after 17. An option is taking in the nr 6 and 7 from our last poll, which are 1st form cell and Bardock currently... 16 and 1st form frieza are out, they're just out, they got only 1 vote, if that doesn't change they aren't justified in being added to this list. We could also add Super Buu, but as the poll assumes kid buu will be made the chance of a second buu form is very, very slim.

i dont think it could be removable, have you seen luke skywalker from theb lack series, the helmet looks a little big, and in gohans case his hair is spiky, making it an impossibility.

Nothing is impossible. The mechanism is already in place, faceplates. You would plug in the different faces into the empty helmet, or bandana. optional shades plug into the bandana over whatever faceplate you use.

besides, ssj head would mean extra faces that would limit the options it would come with, and super saiyaman is all about silly poses and faces.

Wasn't a problem for Trunks

What is that...like...27 individual pieces including all hands, faces, hair, and sword?
Why would it be a problem for Gohan?

I'm all for blue gi Gohan, but keep in mind that Saiyaman is more than possible when you consider Trunks has already proven it can be done.
Ultimate Gohan can happen via head swap with normal Goku, it would be a wasted release.

Interchangeable Hair, problem solved He's a small character, he would need extra accessories anyway.
