I just got mine unboxed and set up... I hate it!!!

j/k, this piece is gorgeous... checked my raindrops, they're clear in part but also painted the same faint blue as the water ripples on the base. Saw some weird lines on the base and was wondering what the heck they were... doh, they painted a reflection of her legs! This really is an incredible piece, my CS Moore Aspen Matthews has a new rival haha

First of all hello gorgeous!



Now the issues.

1- Big one, broken wrist no can't hold the umbrella


2- Broken boot buckle


3- Not flush with base



4- Paint chips on umbrella



5- eyelash under paint



Amazingly (haha) despite this whole mess all the raindrops are fine.

lol, alright but they're sucky iphone pics, lighting sux this time of day




did notice one slight imperfection, not a scratch but kind of a rub line on the inside of her right leg, only visible when the light hits it a certain way- was hard to take a pic of it. I don't think I'll raise a fuss over it, everything else about the statue so far is perfect

What I am seriously worrying about is that how can we trust the QC of each different batch.

Received mine a few days ago, and WOW. This is arguably the most amazing paint app. I've seen from Sideshow in ages. Mine came perfect. The sculpt is phenomenal. This piece blows the doors off of the MJ one, and I liked that one very much. I'm couldn't be more pleased with this piece.

Honestly, I don't know if even Spider-Man himself can beat this piece. So cleverly done. The umbrella is what pushes this over the 'edge.'

Just a thought but the umbrella is obviously very top heavy. The metal rod holding it up seems rather thin to me and i'm pretty sure it's already bending from the weight. I don't think it will hold its straight shape for very long and will probably need replacing eventually. What say you guys.

Oh, it definitely will. Thought the same exact thing. Not sure if it will need replacing (for fear it will break), but replacing in that it'll probably warp long term.
