Feel exactly the same B. Keep saying no more but they keep revealing such awesome stuff :slap

Pricing will be the perfect reason to bow out.

Well, SS is always going to come up with something more enticing. I am just learning that I shouldn't buy into the hype and saying no is getting much easier for me.

Less than 10 Regs if you believe SS LQA.

I hope we get this in two months time.

Never Sir! Never again will I believe those knaves.

That's what I am thinking... Do you guys think he will display well with Venom and Carnage? Or will he look out of place?

I think someone had a pic of that exact thing perhaps? Like a photo shopped version of course. Other than the paint making this pop more arent they similar scale? if not wrong.

I wonder if they will continue this line after Black Cat

Immediate buy! Will love to see some baddies!

I told my wife that my relationship with SS is love hate. I am looking forward to my next few statues and then taking a permanent hiatus. Just getting too expensive and the waits are killer among other factors. I will still linger here however:wink1:

Say it ain't so Kinger. Well as long as you'll stick around. I think you were one of the first guys to welcome me to these boards. So you know :(

Pricing aside you're totally right man, way too many things to say no too. So crappy but I'm new to this thing compared to a lot of the veterans on these boards so I'll stick it out for a bit. The moment they start hitting 500 for a PF that we pay 400 for now, I'm OUT! (Lol maybe)

Serious and the sculpts are getting so awesome too. Have you guys seen the new Savage Opress statue? Fu@king beautiful

^^^ It's all good man, I don't mind bowing out of the process for a while. I have many other hobbies equally as expensive so I need to choose wisely. Plus I just don't have the room in my house to fill it up to the ceiling with statues etc.

I wont be leaving the forums as I stated. It is still fun to see what is new out there. If I can say no to the new Allied Charge Cap I can almost say no to anything.:lol I have not seen the SO sculpt. I will be right back....

Ah lingering... That is all I have been doing lately...lol

Well... You know what I am planning. So if I am successful there... well I will be saving my money on SSC for a bunch of DIY (Do It Yourself) projects...lol.

Yup and before I also start that up Im gonna get my expenses back into check man. My wife and I got married in October and bought a house and a car. The great thing is we covered all of those expenses on our own so we're not bad but been running on $5 here $5 there so to speak. Should be able to get finances back up where they used to then I can start investing in a workbench, tools and lots of raw materials :) got an empty basement for two years at least lol

Well originally I was going to start off with something BIG... and I mean BIG!!!, but I have decided to try some smaller things first ....lol

I've never really understood the whole in/out fade thing.

Geting these things is not like joining a club or even reading comics where you buy before you read.

If there is something I want and think is worth it I'm in; if not I'm out. Really no different from anything else.

I will evaluate each item on its own and always hope to be amazed enough in the future to want an item enough to pay the price. That is what makes getting these fun.

Exactly, if there are other things that are forcing you to take a break from this hobby, then take a much needed break. No biggie. No need to rationalize just to feel better only to be sucked back in when the next must have piece comes out.

Not to difficult to understand. If you like what you have, only have so much space, don't want to replace them with anything new or amazing, then you leave the hobby.

There may be a year or more before any thing shows up that I think is worth my money.
Then again there may be 8+ items I want within just 1 year.

Doesn't mean I am no longer interested in statues or imply anything about future purchases.

EDIT:
I guess I mean I am always on the hunt even if I don't buy. Even my tastes may change and later on I want to let go of some items to get make room/money for others.

Trust me. I'm not rationalizing anything. If anything, I will be relieved. The expense, wait and QC gamble associated with the SS process will make it easy for me to watch from the sidelines. Just because I vocalize it in the forum setting doesn't mean I need validation.

Think I did that last year...seven pre-orders pending :slap

The only way that would work would be to avoid all internet equipped devices :lol

Like I said man, that allied cap is to die for but I am not giving in. Already have a cap so that's that. I will survive!!!:lol
