Same here, it's overprice, shorter, and light weight, the second disappoint statue of the year after the R.superman.

Yeah, but Skaar looks much more expensive for sure. And Skaar is HEAVY and was under $400. Would I be fair to assume that since the new Red Hulk PF body is simple and thick that we will get another Rhino style super lightweight lawn ornament? Please somebody from Sideshow confirm this will be 30+ pounds as fiberglass resin statues are only about $30 at Wal-mart for over 2 foot tall fully painted cartoon characters. Very disapointing so far and SUPER happy I have the Red Hulk Comiquette. After you have looked at both for awhile I think the Comiquette beats this piece (and even has some real weight to it!) ............. and is almost the same size at half the price. Hoping for some serious confirmation that this will be over 30 pounds for that crazy high price. Will likely pass anyway, this does not beat the comiquette and incredibly does not even look as good as the old PF after making us wait years.

Sorry, this is a mass produced statue made from a mold, not original art. You are paying for weight and quality of reproduction. If that did not matter you could sell these made of Fiberglass resin at Wal-mart for $40.
 
I think I'll keep my avenger Hulk maquette, this piece looks pretty cool and I like the EX head, but it should be $399.

It states it weighs 18.5 lbs on the pre-order page.
 
By comparing the height and weight of this Red hulk PF its almost the same as Rhino Comiquette and as for the Hulk Avenger Maquette all of them are 18 pounder. While Skaar and Hulk Comiquette are 30 pounders, its almost half of it. It looks like a hollow statue we have here and for $500+ price tag its hard to pull the trigger. No doubt about it this Red Hulk PF is an amazing sculpt. If they only make as heavy as Skaar or Hulk Comiquette there will be a good chance that this will be a seller. IMO.

Thank you, I had not seen that. I am surprised, I love anything HULK but this even on the first day does nothing for me. I actually took my Red Comiquette out of the box tonight. I am glad I did not sell it. Not sure I would go for it at $399 so I hope all the people who like this sculpt are happy with there $550 purchase.

Oh yeah, does this guy look like he has no butt and pants falling down on the picture looking at his right side? That angle looks wierd and I could not display that side view so he can only face the other way.
 
Lifting hollow statues will not build muscles...

They display the same as solid statues though.

Large solid statues are a thing of the past with Sideshow me thinks.
 
I was sure this was gonna be my hulk statue (the green one, I mean).
When I saw the clip I thought it looked cool and when I saw the price it actually made some sense to me, since it's the hulk and he's supposed to be much larger than batman, for example.
But now we're suppose to pay 37.5% more for a shorter and much lighter statue?

I'm affraid that when in hand batman may accidentally step on him, and, well... hulk smash.

There are other hulks around. The gladiator is beautiful but it's too story specific and I just want a clean basic pants only hulk.
There's the movie one but I want a comics version of the hulk.
So I thought that was it but not anymore.

I think Sideshow wants to make a price leap and is testing us.
Will we be willing to pay more and get less for it.

I for one am gonna say no and keep my hard earned money for another statue.
Hopefully there'll be a more impressive hulk pf in the future.
 
I much prefer comic over movie, but looking at this new green hulk pf vs the movie hulk maquette in my pax, i just can't bring myself to sell the maquette. The movie version really is perfect, especially love the face.

Think i am just going to swap out the movie capt + thor with the new comic capt + thor, and keep the movie hulk. Think they will display good together? in all honesty i think the movie hulk can be passed easily as a comic version just like the ironman maquette.

I agree, the maquette is great.

They really nailed the Hulk in the Avengers movie. In my personal opinion, it's the finest representation of Hulk I've ever seen anywhere.
 
The movie maquette is cool, but since I'm paying so much for shippment and taxes as well as the statue, I want my statues to be exactly as I want them.
So far, since I got into PF collecting batman, superman and WW seem to be that way.

I'm a 70s child, so I want my hulk looking like this:
