Vegito and Gogeta swapped expressions. Hopefully we get more SSJ Goku and Vegeta faces to rectify that! I really liked in the movie seeing Gogeta switch from dead serious to sympathetic. They look great though!

Outstanding job on those customs. Those are 2 of the 3 I have planned. The sculpting you pulled off for their hair and Gogeta's vest is spot on. Any pointers before I get into painting? Heh heh

Android 17 is up for pre-order at Big Bad Toy store. October release, so long 6 months, and another release for the year. Please be SSJ Vegeta at SDCC. I want at least one release to be excited for the year.

Lol knew he would be the last figure this year, it kinda confirms how they will be releasing figures, 3 new figures a yr a sdcc and a possible re release; march, june and october are the new figures and july has the sdcc an somewhere inbetween that we may see re releases last year we had vegeta in march ssj goku re release was i believe in april? Frieza was june sdcc piccolo july and krillin in oct.

I'd rather have Kid Buu over Fat Buu. But a Super Buu would be pretty awesome, and taller than Piccolo.

It's just that I'm so disappointed in Goku. It's still a figuarts Goku, so it's going to be my favorite. Saiyan Saga Goku and Majin Vegeta are going to be the only two figures that come ahead. It just bums me out with the effort. The Kamehameha looks pathetic with such short stems, and the face choices, lack of new tooling,and coloring are disappointing. I wish they gave us Nyiobou and a halo, or at least hands to hold one, so I could make my own. This is the main character, and they should have given it their all. I just think they thought, "It's Goku, he'll sell no matter," and they're right, because I'm getting two.



The Androids look fantastic, and I don't have problems with them. Ignoring my Gohan's arm, I'd say those 3 are the most accurate and problem-free releases. I like the Androids and I am buying them, but I don't want them right now, especially since I have the rest of my figures with Cell. That's what's great about having such powerful villains, because it conserves space, since you can line up all the heroes against one villain with it making sense. If we got Post Time Chamber Trunks, I'd replace him with the Trunks we got, and move the other one with the Androids for a History of Trunks display. Once I get a SSJ Vegeta my excitement will go up, because then I would put him and Trunks together for that scene where he fights 18. I pre-ordered 18 and will do the same with 17, but will be happier if they announce SSJ Vegeta!

Yeah I agree. Especially the shortened kamehame beams just seems stupid. I still think it's a simple matter of 'this is what you get' when you try to forcibly push a company into making something, just because they showed a prototype for a while. They'll say fine, we'll throw out what we have then, whatever.

And then you get something below the standard of the rest of what the company makes, because the truth is, they probably didn't wanna release this Goku now and just threw into production what they had with whatever minor things did could pull off to make it acceptable.

I think it's a loss for everyone. The company's rep, the company's relationship with the fanbase, the fans getting rushed release, and lastly those who want non-goku characters, because this just gives them a reason to release another goku in the future.

I wonder if base Goku will be able to use SSJ3 Goku's halo. I'm sure we've talked about it before, but with him coming out soon I'm interested again. lol.

I think Bandai/Tamashii need to reconsider the importance of their markets at this point. There is no reason for a line to be held back from greater success because the home market is weaker. MMPR, Sailor Moon, and DBZ have all proven to be surprise success' in America and I think Bandai shouldn't be afraid to make figures for sale in America and not Japan. I'm not saying I know how things works, but if decisions regarding DBZ were no longer dependent on Japan I wonder if things would be different? I think we should at least see more US Market exclusives like the female Yellow Ranger. That is unprecedented, and is what I would like to see more of from Bandai. So Japan doesn't want X, but America does then don't hold back release it here only. Americans love two things- villains, and accessories. We want to take a hundred pictures and make crazy displays and dioramas. Maybe Japan doesn't do that because of living space? I don't want stereotype, I just don't know. lol.
