Wow, the weathering on the blue 501st is so much better than on the Veteran. The Vet just looks like he's covered in bird droppings, while the 501st actually looks like it's a worn and worked-in suit. Almost makes me want to change my mind and get a Shiny to weather myself instead.

Awesome pics everyone!
The new Phase II helmet sculpt is definitely an improvement as well - I'm surprised that's not being mentioned much.
Among other gripes, that was the deal breaker for me with the previous EpIII clone figures.

I've opened my Veteran and I really dig the backpack, gotta say......all the weapons are nice, but I am using his standard blaster. Deco is busy in person, but I like it - from a small distance, he looks really jacked up
helmet looks nice to me - this is my only clone so no real point of reference. While its nice they included Phase I, I shall only be posing mine with Phase II

I thought that was my imagination, since I don't have a new clone in hand yet to compare, but I thought the helmet looked really nice on these.
I can't believe the weather apps on the plain vet made it to production though, jesus christ, what were they thinking?

Got my Vet yesterday, and I love this thing! All my clones have crazy helmets and such, I felt I needed a "regular" clone to show off the normal helmet too. I tried to take pics of him last night, but the lighting was junk, so Im going to wait till a little later, but I wanted to just show another reason Im excited for the Vet:
I got to give Wolffe the rail gun! Hellz yeah!

... i've got enough in rewards points to snag one of these... But I'm not sure i want to grab one. Seeing as they appear to be open edition, i wager they'll be around a while.

Finally caved and ordered both the 501st clone and Grievous. Figured since I already have Rex on PO, it was only a matter of time until I got him.
Should have them in hand on Monday.

Well, jjosdom's pics (turned right-side up of course) convinced me to go for the 501st. It was the one that slightly disappointed me on it's initial release several years back...the deco just seemed a little lacking. But this new version certainly looks grimed-up enough! And I really am impressed with the new helmet, especially the visor. Disappointed a bit that the CW stand featured in the product pics doesn't appear to be included....I like a little variety with the stands.
Already have the 212th on order....
Looking forward to seeing the 501st next week...
....and on a slight-off topic note....been watching the final episodes of CW on Netflix....c'mon Sideshow....please do the deluxe treatment with the Shocktrooper! They make a lot of appearance in these last episodes and would benefit from a new release here....I'd pick one up for sure....maybe two.
