The Mandys look great! Did they come from the expanded universe or did you come up with the designs yourself?

Those are my own design. Those projects are the most creative. You can make absolutely everything you want.

Kruger and Drake are private commissions. For Max I used a soldier story head. Finished custom was posted a few pages ago.

Ah, okay. Yeah, I saw the Max back when you posted it. I know you don't repeat most figures but if you'd ever do another Kruger and Max I'd pay out the *** for those two. Unbelievable figures, man.

Hey Seb how exactly did you dye ShortRound's Kato Joker overcoat? What color and what kind of dye did you use and did you have to use any bleach or color remover? Any help walking me through the process would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure how much quantity that is in Artist terms.

LOL it ain't that simple.

I didn't dye it.
I soak it in a cup with water mixed with some black acrylics. 50% water and 50% black acrylic.
I added some touches of drybrushing using brown and tan. I drybrush on the edges of the coat. Collar, sleeves, pocketc etc... I did this once the coat was still wet.

Once dry i did the same drybrushing techinque on the same places to bring out more details and more dirt. I also used a touch of tan coloured pastel.

I thought about that approach. I have a DX11 jacket that's not in use so I figured I'd experiment with that first. If it goes horribly wrong than I won't move on to the real Kato jacket.

Awesome. About how many ounces of water and paint and about how long should I soak it for? Also do I need to seal it with matte varnish or anything afterwords?

James Hetfield almost complete. Just need to add all the patches to his battle jacket to finish him off properly.
