What's wrong with the hair on the clean sculpts?

It's the 70's baby, freshly coifed and ready for the party.

Agreed. The hair looks like this greasy and stinky kid I used to sit behind in middle shool health class. I can't remember his face.. Only the stinky Metallica and justice for all t shirt and oily hair. Kudos to SS for bringing back memories with that hair sculpt.

Also if I am understanding the deal with the two coats then this is an'easy pass. I have enough drama in my life than to be duped into buying this figure twice to get both coats.

Besides we all know the coat was BLUE because it matched his Bespin jacket. Han was stylish like that!

Exactly. Sideshow is shooting themselves in the foot. Can't wait to watch the drama unfold when people start receiving the wrong boxes getting mixed up. This was a stupid idea.

Riiiiiiight.... this is all too confusing and seems like a sneaky attempt at double [triple]-dipping. If this was a Hot Toys DX we'd be getting both coats and both headsculpts in one, not split up over 3 different options. This is BS.

And the set would just be $350 with a decent sculpt.
This sculpt looks too round and old.. (and it's not even the final product yet)

I know I will. SS can develop a 5.0 pro body and I'd still prefer a TT body.

The more I think about it the more it bugs me there won't be both coats. Just makes the HT Luke look like an even better deal especially the ex version.

No one can seem to get Harrison Ford sculpt quite right. This looks like it has a touch of Kurt Russell to it.

The exclusive version should really include everything and the blue coat should be the only exclusive item.

One exclusive with both coats and both sculpts
One regular with the brown coat and both sculpts.

Simple and easy - one exclusive as always. It's a bummer that it's split up like this.

I hate to say it the brown version looks more movie accurate. When did it ever look that blue in the movie. When he got off the tauntaun he was covered with snow a little. When he shot the probe droid it wasn't that blue.

I read the posts before I saw the pics since the SS page with the pics were down when I initially tried to view them. But you're right, first I was surprised we were getting both coats. Then I was surprised at all the crying

its a cockish move on their part, figures they do something to complicate chit. I dig the brown and the blue but want both head sculpts too, Sideshow is becoming a tricksy hobitses... always keeping it from us. Filthy Sideshowses...

There are three version. Brown regular doesn't come with the alternate headsculpt without the headgear. Then there's a blue exclusive and a brown exclusive. Both of those come with the alternate head. I would think you'd just want to get the brown exclusive. Then you'll get the extra head and the parka color you want.

When the Boba Fett came out with the garish, totally-inaccurate green paint, someone remarked: you knew in your heart Sideshow would find a way to screw up this figure. And they were right.

So I gave Sideshow far too much credit to think they could handle this right and actually grasp what people wanted. I just hope some of the retailers are pissed about being cut out of the blue jacket sales (possibly the majority interest). Sideshow might listen to them.

And both of these companies wonder why their stuff isn't selling out like it used to. Overprice your customers and then piss them off with exclusives, variants and splitting things up. Yeah, I'm about done with this hobby. Sideshow has gone to the Dark Side.
