I don't mean competing. What if Hot Toys lost or rescinded the option?



Their partnership is mainly distribution. I was speculating since Hot Toys announced they had it quite some time ago. They've done nothing with it.

Have they done that with any other license?

It's the similar story with the BTTF license; they haven't revoked it officially so we can't totally rule out the possibility.

For sure. I don't collect figures so that announcement means $$$ saved. I'm still a little bummed though. I would have loved a few of these pieces in 1/4 scale. A 1/4 Arkham Deathstroke would have been a dream come true for me.

Thank god these are 1/6th - I really like some of the Arkham Designs quite a bit (Scarecrow, Ra's), but I do 1/4 scale for comic representations and 1/6th for movie if I like the movie/figure, so my wallet is happy.

I couldn't get on board with Sideshow's own designs from the DC 1/6 line so this is very exciting. Would much rather have Batman, Catwoman, and all the other awesome villain designs from Arkham City.

Did someone from SSC confirm there arnt going to be any statues? Strange, because they are coming...

1:4 scale PF… first one you're gonna see is a classic bad guy, that's all Im saying for now. That's at least from us, if HT is doing any 1:6 Im not sure, can't confirm or deny that.

Don't get your hopes up for getting every single one of these guys from every game, we got 2 in the works, and a 3rd might follow. It's a strange license with the timing, Id personally rather us design our own versions of these guys but I can appreciate people having an attachment to the games and that they were supposedly awesome (never played em, I quit video games after SNES) so Im stoked for fans to get their hands on these.
