I am going to manually do a "flex pay" myself with AE.
just setting aside a certain amount every week's pay check into my Bruce/Alfred fund.

If ordering from the UK, which seller is best? When I ordered my Darth Vader from Sideshow, they wanted to charge an additional $10 for double boxing. I turned that down out of principle, but may end up regretting it if the box gets damaged. I hear Alter Ego will double box. Can anyone recommend one seller over the other. Obviously, with Darth Vader, I wanted the SS exclusive hand, so I had to order from them.

Placed my order for Bruce, Alfred and the armory. Oh how I love flexpay. I know in the end eveything will add up to $644, but with flexpay I really don't feel like I'm spending that much.

I'd say probably onesixthbruce.co.uk I use them for all my pre orders and their prices are always the best. Also their packaging is fantastic.

I'm gonna wait till a couple more rewards points become active and then I'll order using all my rewards points. It is a great set but it is too high by about $200. There isn't much new in this set. Alfred and the Wayne suit. A few new sculpted mouth pieces for the DK suit and that's it. The armory is an exact copy of whats already on the market. I bet it costs no more than $30 to make that armory with all the accessories. It will be a great display though and I'm glad we are finally getting an Alfred. Now we are just missing Fox, Ras, and Blake.

This set is almost as good as the new Joker figure coming with full 1/6th truck. AND bazooka!

I'll wait for the Toy Fair exclusive with Ra's Al Ghul, Ducard, and flammable temple playset. Have to buy 2 sets for before and after!

I agree. The BEST part about it is once it ships you aren't hit with a $675 bill. Just close to $80.

Hang in there, Hot Toys business is based upon 1/6th, but who knows maybe if people keep buying the 1/4 scale it will catch on and we will get a 1/4 scale Armory for our 1/4 scale Batman. I'm loving the 1/4 scale, but also have the 1/6th scale, and yes they look funny together.

Whoo...I think thats the most times I've said 1/4 scale.

Thanks buddy, appreciate it, yeah I have my dx10 with my clean and bd 1:4 t800 and yes they don't look that good really makes the hot toy look blah, I guess I was just blinded by the bat because I love the batman character so much but I guess I much rather get the 1:4 robo or finally buy the 1/4 Endo , waiting for t1000 direct from enterbay came instock today.

if anyone has a Simple bank account just setup a goal and you will never even notice you have the funds ready for payment come shipping day and it won't seem like your paying it all at once.

I agree but the issue happens when you order 3 or 4 things. In that case, if you have not paid everymonth sometimes it gets a challenge. Lastly, i have not seen too many great announcements from H.T past 2 months, something tells me a lot more will be thrown at us in jan and feb and will come around same time. Hence, for high value items sometimes flex play works. I am not a proponent of it but i guess went in with flex this time.

Hence, for high value items sometimes flex play works. I am not a proponent of it but i guess went in with flex this time.

agreed. I am hoping for a Blake figure. i am not really interested in fox, maybe Ras but since I don't buy many figures it works out fine for me not doing a SS flex.

Sadly, I know this in the back of my mind that I'm paying this much in the end even with FlexPay, so like someone else said, I will have my own FlexPay in my mind up til then haha, to make my next few months easier to get out of debt.

Yeah, there's definitely more coming. Bat Signal and 1/12 Bat, plus the TDKR Armory just to name Batman stuff. Marvel section is waiting on TDW: Loki, and I'm sure Cap2:TWS is just around the corner since the film is releasing in April... There's Lone Ranger that Tonto buyers are waiting for.. Yep, there's plenty...

Exactly why I love flex pay. If I have more than one figure on order and for some reason they all get on some crazy release schedule and all get thrown at me at one time (kind of like this month where I got the DX13, Jor-El, and Tony Stark- The Mechanic) I don't have to pay all at one time as I'll already have some of the cost paid off prior to their release.

As great as this set is, I'd stick with the 1/4 Terminators and Robocop. I kinda surprised this set sold out so quick at BBTS especially after Christmas.

I'm based in the UK, and ordering from Sideshow at $625 plus $40-60 for shipping, will add up to almost $700, even before the dreaded customs and VAT. I've just seen an ebay seller (loontentoys) listing the full set for only £400, including free shipping. This works out at only $600, and he is prepared to mark it as low value, which would mean no VAT and customs fee. The only major problem is that the set will not be available until Oct 2014, which means if you pay now, you will not be protected by paypal if there is a problem come October.
What a shame?
