Yeah, the CA tax is a killer. A lot of time I order outside of SSC its because of the tax, if they had some sort of an adjustment for CA customers I'd only shop there.

:lol Thanks! I'll do my best to keep them interesting in twenty fourteen.

Your sig is just fine the way it is, mate! Fine is more ways than one. :wink1: :yess:

Nah. The armory figure will still be a loose figure. With the figure being the same both ways, collectors only interested in Batman will still opt for the DX.

They could just buy the armory on its own $385 which is only a tad more than some 'decent' prices still ask for the DX12

That's what Flex Pay is for - break it up into more manageable chunks.

Yep! That's what I did. Pre-ordered + flexpay + RP ($31.50 that I've been sitting on since the 89 Batmobile). It'll be easier to accept this price spread out at about $70/month over 8 months. I just hope it doesn't get released ahead of schedule....if that happens, there's no option to pay it off early... you still have to let the flexpay run it's full course, right?

too bad its not an exclusive, im holding off, this won't sell out at this price, hopefully get it from my CDN Toys Square

Then the other question, since I only want a batman figure, do I get this plus the armory, or try and get DX12.

Wait it out and see how low the DX12 drops.

You'd be wise to buy an armory mouth plate for the DX12 though, or get a custom if you go the DX12 route

That was the position I was in. Do I get the entire set... do I just get the Batman + armory... do I get DX12... for the money the entire set is a terrific deal, but the armory plus Batman is by far the better deal than what most people are asking for just DX12.

I was making an offer on eBay to one guy... got him to $320. I wanted more around $300 to make me feel more comfortable for DX12. Wanted to check with the boss/wife. The price for these sets came out and told him I wanted to check with her once more and he said I wasted his time... my view is: money is money and with the way things are you put your money where you feel most comfortable.

Just got my order in for the full set! Awesome price pricepoint for the 3-pack! But since I still don't have enough reward points and I don't like the NRD too I went with BBTS... aaand the no EXCL thing swayed me to take the BBTS route Plus, it's so easy to cancel my PO in a whim!

Is this your first TDK-suit Batman figure? If it is, and you can afford it, I'd get the full set. $625/3 figures PLUS a set piece is a great deal when you think of it. If you really really don't want want the armory and Alfred + Wayne once you have them in hand, you can unload them on the secondary market and still come out on top.

that armory looks identical to the the lousy toys legend one. i owned it, and it looks like there are no differences, including the little paper clip like hangers on the doors....makes me wonder if there is some funny business going on here. did HT buy the rights from toys legend? did toys legend version originate from a leak at HT? i mean, its identical. i know most people will say of course it is, they are both modeled to look like the one in the movie, but i would expect some differences. i dont see one. does anyone else?

$645 shipped is a killer and more than I paid on the Batmobile. Pass.

$570ish would have been more ideal, but eh, these aren't going anywhere. I have a ton of rewards points from Spooktacular and Christmas that I could blow on it but I think I'll save them and see what else Hot Toys has up their sleeve . . .

This seems like a much better value than the DX12, specially if you just get Batman and the Armory.

Yeah, but wasn't everyone thinking it would be 700-800 bucks? I thought it was going to be more expensive.

Haven't studied it- maybe HT bought the tooling off them to produce theirs? If so I hope they do fixes and improve it- also a possibilty

You can pay a flexpay off early, you just need to contact Sideshow and let them know, and they'll arrange to charge you for the full remaining amount plus shipping.
