Well, its after 1130am EST so they're arriving in office about now. I'd expect the pre-order to go up within the next 2 hours perhaps?

Looking to get the 3 pack but going to wait till release to order. Build some points up too. May sell off Alfred though,

You can watch twitter too, as they usually post updates there as well. Their @ is "collectsideshow" without the quotes.

Pretty sure hefty only implies weight, which would make people think that the Asian re-release weighs more or has more diecast. They both weigh the same as it's the same figure. Also, the Asian release is known to be pretty loose in the joints.:lecture

A less confusing way to say it is expensive or pricy, but everybody has their own way to say things.. haha.

Exactly, my friend! Sorry if i made it much confusing! Just the figurative side of saying such! LoLz! Thanks!

Don't worry mate i and many others have/do use hefty to describe something as large, whether that be in weight or price

Both the Takara and this Comic Con 2013 are asian re-releases though. So wouldn't they have both be pretty loose in the joints? :huh

The pics of the 'Batman Collectible Figure' do look atrocious tbh, I don't even see the mouth plates as 1/6 scale equivalents of the QS001, Just not seeing Bale whatsoever. Reason why it's not that big a deal for me though is that under no circumstances whatsoever would I ever view this set as a way of having a Batman figure in the collection; in fact my view is that the PERS HS and gloved hand sculpts are simply extra accessories (albeit crappy looking ones), you get this set for the armoury display and the Bruce/Alfred figures

:exactly:

Well.. those are the reasons I am getting it.

Missed this amidst all the holiday business and while I'm surprised in that I didn't know this was on their radar, I'm not surprised in the double dip / cash grab aspect of it.

I love TDK and started collecting 1:6 because of it, but I'm to the point where I can't continue to be constantly upgrading to the latest redo. I don't blame them since clearly there is a market for it, but I guess I'm both content with what I have and tired of the game.

For years I was happy with my own custom built armory. When Toys Legend offered theirs I upgraded because it was vastly better than my effort and affordable. This HT version doesn't seem that much better, and while I like the remote lighting option, it's not enough to convince me to swap. Honestly, I don't care for the use of the Dark Knight logo on the base as it just takes some of the realism out of the piece.

I have a kitbash Bruce that I prize and am very happy with. And while I've gone back and forth on whether to add peripheral characters such as Alfred and Fox to my collection, I'm not ready to pony up for this just to get him.

For those that missed out on earlier releases and are getting this, congrats. I'm sure it will look great and keep all those who prefer brand names happy. Hot Toys seems to keep giving us all second (and third) chances....I'm just ready to fill other, (non Nolanverse) holes in my 1:6 collection.

Very fair points

I think deep down most collectors, even the nolanites would like HT to move on and not focus on the 2 big money makers right now. Too much in too little amount of time

I do however think it's HT fault completely. If they would have just made all these figures around the time of the films then so many people wouldn't be 'hanging on' hoping the secondary characters are made.

If we would have already seen BB Batman, TDK Batman, Ra's, Scarecrow, Harvey Dent, Bruce, Alfred, Fox, Joker, Catwoman and Bane then most people would be happy and there wouldn't be this ongoing hype for it

To be fair though it does make them lots of $$$ so they will fully take the piss

All we can do is wait, just remember the recently MoS case for example.
Proto sucked, and the final product is quite spectacular for me.
After 5 attempts, I still have a faith in HT for finally making a great 1/6 Dark Knight figure.
But still, at $487 price tag for this fullset is a must buy from me, I just need to save $2 each day until September when it's release,=))

So I can leave the DX12 figure along with others, and put this set next to Stark Workshop (with Banner later) LOL

Well... I think most people would agree that the only thing that sucked about the MOS proto was the body, the head sculpt is as good as the final product.

Sounds like a plan, mate! :clap

It was Cybertron Con in China, and nobody knows if the Takara has loose joints yet as nobody has them in hand.

I'm glad I have a first run takara haha.

My Bad I didn't read it correctly. :slap

So do you know what differences the Cybertron Con has compared to the other one?

It's the takara mold with the Hasbro accessories.
I have a review on my youtube channel:
