What did you buy?


Eric with T-Bird's Taurus PT92 and Funboy's S&W Model 629:

For the Taurus I already have some Beretta 92s, and will soon have some from one of the VTS 'Revenger' figures.

For the S&W 629 I might make do with the Model 686 that came with Dragon's Wasabi Hubert figure.

I can't find a Mossberg 500 Cruiser.

Next issue is hands to hold them!

I got the Revengers gun for the Taurus.
For the S&W I have a spare Alice Resident Evil revolver ...a fair way off I know but its a silver revolver so it will do

Shotgun I'm not sure of the model I've bought ...I just looked through the many auctions on ebay till I found one that looked closest to the movie stills.

And I got a katana to round things out.

In terms of hands, I'll be interested to see what the hands he comes with can do. Sometimes the fingers are all one piece and sometimes the fingers are separate and can be easily manipulated into the necessary positions.

We know he'll hold the katana easily, but I think we could force some cool gun poses as well !

Called Disrespectful. A "Gun" is what Brandon Lee died of. It was right of them to say not to add any to the figure. Hot Toys were being respectful and if you want weapons than buy them separately. I respect the wishes and what comes with the figure is enough.

If you want to do aftermarket mods to him... go ahead. I was considering hunting down one of Snake Eyes katannas but I like think I'll do the pose of him open armed with the guitar on his back. He barely had the weapons in the film, they are not iconic like the guitar.
