I really appreciate all the new Aliens figures. Yes, some of them may have wonky legs or messed up eyes and... yes, I have had to buy MANY duplicates to find the perfect ones. Yet, they are still for a killer price and no other collectible toy company is producing Alien figures. I wish Hot Toys would really dive into the marines and nostromo crew again, but who knows with their love of Iron Man right now. As for Toy Fair, I hope they show off more marines such as Drake, Vasquez and Apone. Also, show the Nostromo Crew, dog alien, and of course the Alien Queen. Ripley would be my top hope other than the queen but I doubt Weaver will give up her likeness.

I'm totally with you man, for my taste in licenses, NECA has gotta be my favorite company right now. What they're giving us has been very satisfying for the last few years for me. Perfect character choices, nicely detailed figures, and in a price range where I can get them all without having to be too choosy.

I could just imagine if they had the Star Wars or LOTR license in the 7" scale..

I like NECA, too, but I'm having a tougher and tougher time lately. This was last night... I'd been saving a couple boxed Xenos, including the Genocide set, for a slow night. I opened three figures last night, and every single one of them broke immediately:

One broke at the hip, one at the waist, and one at the neck. I bought them ages ago, so there's no change of bringing them back to the store for a return. This sucks.

Oh man, I'm sorry to see that. That really sucks..

I have 4 of those 4 packs and mine were fine, but I did open them immediately to make sure because I know this can happen.

Yeah, it seemed pretty crazy to me that they could all break like that. I bought the Genocide pack from BBTS, so I emailed them, but I bought the warriors at TRU in person so I think I'm boned there. I @'d NECA on Twitter, so we'll see what they say.

I've noticed one of the hip-joints on my xeno is slightly stressed, I would guess due to how terribly tight the figure's joints are in general, so I'm likely not going to be trying to move it out of the position it's now in. I've previously had a Gears of War Kantus's arm snap off for seemingly no reason and no desire to repeat the experience.

If you go through better business bureau, sometimes you can find links to companies through the site and email them regarding the problem...I had an issue with Funko Pop! batmobile and they returned my email within 24 hours, and sent me a replacement piece within the week.

But if Neca will respond directly to an email, that's great...

So, in fairness to my previous complaints, I would like to say that I emailed NECA and they are going to replace all three busted Xenos. I have to ship the three broken figures back to them, but still, they are well out of the return period from any retailer, so I'll take it.

A few pics of the previous series. I am not sure I will buy the new series. The paint looks so cheap and unreal. Make the flesh as Dutch´s.

The single greatest disappointment about this line. The quality just isn't on a par with how they made Dutch nor does it look like that's going to change. A real pity. I rate Aliens and Predator on a par with eachother, I think they deserved equal treatment.

According to twitter they are looking to get the Dog into series 3 or 4. The Weyland Mercs have yet to be started.

Those still waiting for the Queen last I read they were trying to have something ready to show at toy fair. Again according to twitter they Might tease something of her for Christmas?

On twitter Randy said that the Dog Alien is finished being sculpted, and we will definitely see it at toyfair.

So, so far the figures we know they are making for series 3 and 4 are:

Bishop

Dog Alien

And someone in the Nostromo space suit

So they're really mixing it up rather than focussing on one film at a time. They could spread this out quite a while depending on how many characters per film they plan on doing.

Finally got the hicks 2 pack, spaer body and parts from him (need to dremel out the helmet), but that alien is ****ing awesome, looks so damn cool

Brilliant!
I'm really looking forward to the Dragon. I have high hopes for this figure.

Yeah, I'm hoping they went all-out with the articulation, and he's able to be posed in two-legged and four-legged positions.

The fin broke off the back of my black alien. Or maybe it just got unglued... looks like glue should fix it.

I once thought if I switched to collecting plastic instead of statues I would have less breakage but I was wrong. I hardly pose them but I still get stuff that arrives broken or breaks too easily.
