Thanks guys, no I don't think I will, at least not soon. I collect with fixed displays in mind, pre-detirmened. My picture shows my main one, and the only thing that could change is an armoured trunks swapped in. The other one would then stay isolated till the twins hit. Krillin doesn't fit in there now (ruins the symmetry:p) before I have at least one other to add to it, and I dont have spare cash to just buy Krillin now in advance to store. He just has a very low priority for me, so unless I got spare cash AND get bored over the winter, I wont be picking him up till Goku hits at the earliest. I might never pick him up, believe it or not. i wouldn't lie awake over it.

My other main display is Namek Vegeta, Piccolo, Frieza and soon Goku (gonna put them in fighting or action poses, lots of effects). I'm probably buying a second Normal Goku for a duo display of him fighting saiyan vegeta (recently bought a second of him, but leaving it mib till normal goku hits).

So that leaves organised, period accurate setups and at best just one or two strays I can always put somewhere as an isolated embelishment.:D

Yes, I'm an order-wh0re.:lol I like things tidy, accurate and as iconic as possible.

Oh and thanks for the tip Fan, but I got my Frieza over the fall. Just noticed his sold out tag, surprisingly.

Early we can get SS Vegeta copy with attack effect of Pegasus Saint Seiya Ex stands.

I think it is made with good quality plastic and looks good. Maybe I will buy it to do some custom, I hope they put a cheaper price than original one

Wow, how bizarre! If someone's planning a 'lower-quality' knockoff and it starts selling they'll really have Tamashii on the case. They'll see the profit in a re-release :rotfl

someone should tip off Tamashii so they can squash these guys; I love this line and would hate to see it get ruined by bootlegs...

Sorry, they are knockoffs, I forget how to say that they are copies of the original, but they looks like the original

KILL IT, KILL IT WITH FIRE!

I will stop collecting a 100% before spending a single cent on knockoffs.

I will express this opinion only once so as not to bother people with it further, but I have zero respect for any form of knockoffs. You might as well hold out on 3D printers and make all of it yourself, completely takes the magic out of collecting (finding, hunting, getting) an official product as well as it being blatantly disrespectful to a company doing their best to deliver a unique, quality product.

Everyone do as you wish, I have a zero tolerance policy on it.

Yeah, I agree on the whole bootleg thing too, but these things popping up is 100% tamashiis fault; they need to start rereleasing figures and soon, before demand for bootlegs gets higher and we start seeing copies that you cant tell the difference with, then we will be in trouble.

^ 100% is a little disproportionate imo. First of all because we know they're not gonna re-release enough to deflate bootlegging. And secondly because imo it's always the consumors fault, they buy it (literally and figuratively, and also literally figuratively:lol). It's not like people are mandatory to have ssj vegeta, if you missed out, you missed out. I want a rerelease for a multittude of reasons, but still that at best will only happan once and in 2-3 years we'll have the same problem reccuring (if not persisting). People pay forthese products and a-holes are trying to profit from it via scamming, same ol', same ol'.

One way to get rid of bootlegs: don't buy them.

I really don't get how you can want a knockoff, I really don't. As overreactive as it might sound, these heaps of ripoff-plastic disgust me.:lol

In Saint Seiya Myth Cloth Ex collection have a lot of bootlegs, but some bootleg complete the collection because bandai never will released this figures, like Aries Shion Ex i think is a complement for collectors.

In my opinion, is one opportunity to have SS vegeta for people than missed the release, the Vegeta original will be cheaper when this knockoff appear. This figure of Vegeta, can have two hair (Supersaiyan and normal) in one box, i think for make a custom is good, because you can have the character without use the original one. With this figure you can make Majin Vegeta or Vegeta in Namek without shoulder pad. You can identify the knockoffs of original by the box.

This Vegeta knockoff have better quality than these others

Its desperation mostly, they want what they cant have, then they see bootlegs and decide thats the only way they will get said figure.

Maybe 100% was a tad extreme, but the way i see it is the line is finally getting popular, and there is no longer supply to meet demand, so they are partly responsible for them existing; the other part is down to the type of person I said above, they want the figure but wont pay the prices.

I will admit though, that not all bootlegs are bad; take the fansproject line of figures for transformers, they arent official toys and thus are essentially knock offs, yet collectors flock to them because of the way they are made.

Or you can buy a knockoff, put that in the original box and make yourself some of that vegeta cash.

I don't have anything against using them for customs, I guess, but it still supports their existence, and that in and of itself is sucky for collectors of the real thing. And to me, collectors of the real thing come first. They made this line exist and persist, they laid down the cash for it.

When this line is dead, and tamashii is done with it, that's the point where I'll forgo my attitude. Im fine with anyone making anything they want after that.

(Sorry, couldn't find the one in particular I was looking for.)

Even though I don't want to pay $200+ for SSJ Vegeta and SDCC SSJ Goku I will because they are official. After I buy SSJ Vegeta, I would consider buying bootlegs of SSJ Vegeta for customs(i.e. Majin Vegeta, SSJ3 Vegeta, and Namek Vegeta) so I don't have to gather up like $1,000 for figures I'm just going to ruin and because Tamashii Nations wouldn't do some people. And no amount of bootlegs of them would change my opinion on buying bootlegs as actual collection figures, it is incorrect and insults the manufacturer.

In some cases knockoffs force to bandai to do this new character as happen with Gemini Saga Surplice EX, first they released the knockoff and then bandai do the original Gemini Saga Surplice EX, this happens too with rereleases, the knockoff can force the rerelease of SS Vegeta.

I bought my 2 SS Vegeta at 40$ when was released but now it´s impossible buy one, it´s overvalued. This knockoff can devalue the price of SS Vegeta that only benefits to reseller and not bandai.
