Well, thats the Hobbit, so what's been the delay on any LOTR statues then?


If that turns out to be the case, and given Weta have 1/6th scale and will do Smaug, any Sideshow version will have to be pretty darn big.

My money is on PF's, 1 or 2 for the Hobbit and LOTR. I'm guessing Thorin and/or Bilbo from the Hobbit and Saurman from the LOTR, which will also somewhat fit in with the Hobbit.

I'm more expecting something in the 12 Days of Christmas (of course it could just be a preview) rather then in a newsletter.

Well, I'm all for a Boromir statue, but my personal preference is a statue of Boromir's last stand.

I want a PF, and I don't think that would be a fitting one.

I know we've talked about this before, but I wouldn't want a statue of Boromir full of arrows.

There was another SS newsletter today with the LOTR old items. I think they are trying to push as much stock as possible before they bring the new stuff.

I genuinely wish the PF Hunters well. But given there apparent next stitch up of maquette buyers, then *****cks to SS and their LOTR line along with ANY Hobbit!

At this point, I just want my Merry and Pippin to complete the line that they released. They claimed the Fellowship would be completed this time, but we got the Witch-King, Arwen, and an orc without Merry & Pippin showing up yet.

I'm still a little disappointed it wasn't all of them from Fellowship of the Rings with Boromir and the Frodo/Sam being from other scenes, (Legolas technically is from post-breaking of the Fellowship, but not much change so I forgive), but at this point....

I just...want...the last...statue.
