Re: <> DX13 T2 - T800 BD - OMG Photo Review @ P1-2 <>

Oh man, I love that one.

Reminds me of the pinball machine from '91 I used to play at the arcade where there were three Terminators in the foreground, Endo, BD T-800 and clean sunglasses.

Haha this makes the dx10 look soooooo bad..........
Oh wait I only just got it last week :(

The light up version looks sweet, if I end up getting this I'll cheat and go CD body battle damage with final scene HS

Re: <> DX13 T2 - T800 BD - OMG Photo Review @ P1-2-7 <>

The sculpt looks great but I really don't like the blood effects. WAY over done. The T-800 was not full of blood like a human. It only bleeds a little around the wound area - not all over the skin.

That aside - beautiful figure. Need to unload my DX 10 for this :lol

When he first gets shot up by the SWAT team there's a lot of blood but most of it is gone by the time they get to the steel mill.

Re: <> DX13 T2 - T800 BD - OMG Photo Review @ P1-2-7 <>

why do omg's photos look so photoshopped?
i think it takes away from the figure.
prefer natural pics mostly.
that other guy doing pics is quite good....

I forget one very important thing, at the back of the sculpt opposite of the month, remember to use zippo lighter fluid to clean up the glue than use modeling masking tape to cover it!!! :panic::panic::panic:

You don't seem to understand photography. What exactly does a Photoshop photo look like? apart from a lot of post processing and inserted digital backdrops.

His photos do look natural. He's used lamps, possibly the figure is in a fairly open space so the darkness hides anything in the background (or in aid of a black backdrop thats further away) with the correct camera settings. Plus the aid of the plastic/mirrored base. Thats all photography.

It's also possible there was some post processing done to help the white balance but on the other hand it can be done so well via the photographer that it's untouched. All done via the camera. Therefor fools the critics.

He's gone for the photo studio look which I admire. It's professional.

You say the other guys looks better. Thats subjective but that would be like creating a movie with no white balance rectifications. Thats why the colour balance looks home made that you like. I'm not criticising but everyone has their own style or some don't even have a style. Point and shoot. As I'm only explaining just incase somebody takes offence to it.

Some people don't care about colour accuracy. Others do.

Look up the really good photography websites.

Re: <> Ironman 3 Mandarin - OMG Photo Review <>

Yeah, this figure turned out great. HS is awesome, even more so with the glasses on.

7 months from reveal to release, and still very well crafted. Is it possible that they already have this in the works before the movie came out last April? Damn HT works in mysterious ways.
