Yeah and that's why I wanted to take advantage of the exchange rate and get it for a little less on ebay when it was released. But we know how that turned out :lol

Plus I missed all uk pre orders as it looked so turd at the beginning I didnt want to pre order :lol

Would you of paid less than 370 if you preordered this from UK sellers?

I did take it.

Well, I was actually only looking for a suited body, but the parted body on ebay is not exactly cheap, so it made sense to just buy the whole figure and sell the parts that I don't need. Stripped him good as soon as I got the package. :lol PS: the HT 1/4 body is horrible done anatomically, however the articulation is way better than EB's, vice versa, EB's body is way better sculpted anatomically, but the articulation is rather limited.

How did you remove the suit, if you don't mind me asking? Is there a zipper?

Glad I skipped because I support HT first and foremost, and now that I see HT is slightly smaller I wouldn't have been happy with the 2 sizes... I just hope HT does a begins ver. :peace

I can see your point regarding size difference, but why would you pass on a figure out of loyalty to a company? Just wondering because the EB batman really is an amazing piece and a lot of people, not just you, have passed on him because he's not by HT. Personally, I'm loyal to a quality product, not to a company. I have both the EB and HT versions, and BOTH are amazing figures, yet both are also not perfect. No figure is perfect and DEFINITELY, no company is perfect either. But if a figure is an awesome representation of a character I like, I will consider purchasing him, regardless of what company he is by. Not trying to pick on you, I was just curious b/c I wanted to advise you, or anyone who doesn't have the EB batman b/c he's not a HT product, to seriously reconsider. Now is the best time to get him, while he's still readily available and still at a reasonable price. He compliments the HT batman and looks freaking impressive/badass in hand. Trust me and get him while you still can. You can thank me later :wink1:

Awesome, thanks for that info. Not gonna strip mine down, but it'll definitely be interesting to see what Maglor comes up with now :)

Let the modding begine. (Bane voice). As for me. Mine will remain 95% stock. Just custom cape . And possibly the gauntlet mod. IMO this figure doesn't need anymore then that.

Made a custom stand for a 1/6 anakin I had. Using it for bats tilI i make him one. Looks like a big 1/6 stand.
I do not like the stock stand

At least you don't have to cut the suit to fix the belly that bothers you though right?

True. But I don't relish the idea of of breaking a glue seal on the body armor either though.

That feeling of dread will turn to relief once you figure out how to make this piece reach its full potential. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with :hi5:

I appreciate the vote of confidence, but I still uncomfortable with the whole thing. It would be so nice to make my $500 back right now and just be done with it...

Regardless of what is beneath the suits, something has to be said about HT Batman vs EB Batman here.

Most folks on these boards give an easy pass to the EB Batman because is has great presence and terrific cowl sculpts but the fact remains that he has lady legs!
Even if you remove the pot belly and add the missing crotch items the figure is extremely bow legged and the legs are way too thin (zero muscle tone) to support the massive upper body.
When the figure is out of the box with the high belt, pot belly and camel toe, Batman looks like he's wearing Batwoman's legs.
The QS001 Batman has a well proportioned manly body as it should be.
Finally I'd like to add that I like the EB Batman a lot, it's just not as perfect as some seem to think it is.
