I've been out of the Pokemon scene for a lot of years... Is ditto breeding and trading the way to get all the starters these days? How does that work? Ditto can breed with any Pokemon and then you trade starter for starter?

I'd like to not have to buy a second copy of the game to play the beginning over and over again if I can help it.

ditto can breed with any pokemon except for legendaries, baby pokemon, and I think other genderless pokemon. once your pokemon ****s the pink glob, youll get an egg that will hatch into the pokemon who ****ed ditto. then all you have to do is find someone who will trade with you

Got it, thanks. Now I just need to find a Ditto...

or find something that's in the same egg group. you can get moves that pokemon wouldn't ever be able to learn normally by breeding them

Am trying to evolve my Kadabra and my Haunter into their final forms.

Don't mind old legendaries as well such as the 3 elemental birds.

I like the 1st and second gen pokemon.

Are there trade groups here where we can help each other evolve pokemon who can only evolve via trade-only?
