What a freakin' heartbreaker! I have been looking for a year for the 10-rd .40 S&W magazines for my subcompact PX4 Storm at any kind of reasonable price. I picked one up at 43.00 and though that was OK compared to what I have seen (as much as 80.00 per). I just saw an auction on Ebay selling them for 29.00 and 3.00 shipping...and there were 7 in the auction.

My air conditioner went out and I had to replace it which left my account lower than I like it to get...so I had to pass.

I'll be hopin' and prayin' that that seller ends up getting more up at that price.

On the bright side, though. The price does seem to be fairly steadily moving closer to making that normal...so there's that.

Got this same pistol and it is a beast! I love its aggressive look, accuracy and smooth recoil.

It's also comfortable as a ccw as well

Took a vacation to Iowa city over the weekend to visit my younger brother while he's at school. I walked into a Scheel's sporting goods at the mall and they had a bunch of ammo and mags. One thing in particular that caught my eye was a drum mag for my 10/22. So I get ready to make my purchase and they wouldn't sell to me! They said they weren't sure of the laws concerning Cook County so they'd rather play it safe and not sell. I even had a manager there. They wouldn't even sell me ammo! My friend was looking to buy some other sporting goods stuff there and I grabbed the junk from his hand and threw it back on the rack. Nope, you get nothing.

That's some BS. I wouldn't have given them a $1 after that kind of game.

I mentioned earlier in the thread that I hated the way it looked when I first saw it. That was at a gun show in Phoenix. But before I left the show that day, I had changed my mind. And now I really like it as well.

:lol

We all change our minds about things. Never thought I'd get a hankering for an AR-15...$1200 bucks later and....

One thing I really like about the looks of the px4 is the large silver barrel end. Makes the storm look like it fires 45s or better. :yess:

Do be careful staring down the business end of any firearm, but yeah, the Storm looks bad@ss!

Oh for sure!

I don't plan on staring it down...more like the last thing an assailant will see before they here it go bang!

Maybe we should start a PX4 storm group.:lol

I just have a Ruger P95 right now. Want to add more.

Can you guess what gun I would recommend?:lol

When I get back to Phoenix, I am going to hunt down a PX4 Storm Special Duty. I have been jonesing for one of those for quite a while now. It is the next gun on my list.

i have a PX4 in 9. it's a good pistol but i hate the protruding decocker/safety on the slide. i need to get those "stealth" ones installed.

That does seem to be the biggest complaint about the pistol. It does not bother me, however.

it's because i primarily use the overhand method over the slingshot way to chamber a round. i use a modified "pinch" on this one. :D

I'm using the overhand method as well and it's been fine as long as I keep my fingers on the slide's serrations. I do realize, however, that everyone's hands/styles are different.

Finally the CZ P09 Duty is at home.:yess:

:lecture :rock Awesome!! I just took my P07 out to the range earlier today, and it's such an awesome gun. The bore axis is so low that recoil is almost non-existant. Reminds me of the HK P7 series of pistols. I'm gonna have to get me a P09 eventually.

~~If anybody is looking for a light for their pistol I found a coupon code for the Inforce APL that gets it down to $99 before shipping.
https://www.2vetsarms.com/INFORCE-APL-FDE-p/inf-apl-f-w.htm and enter the code "honor" to take $29 off the price. I already have one on my gun in the nightstand, and just ordered a second one. I highly recommend this one especially for $99.

woah i wasnt even looking for a light at the moment but had to jump on it. thanks for the heads up on this deal. shipping to hawaii sucks ($25) but that's still cheaper than anywhere else out there right now.

I'm going to shoot my new CZ P09 tommorow and let you know how it shoots.
Now I'm looking for a good holster for this one, annyone any suggestions?

I like my N82 inside the waistband holster. My CZ doesn't fit in it so I'll need to get a new one, but I've used my Glock 19, M&P 9c, and my HK45c fit in the one I already have without issues so far.
Maybe also check out the Talon Grips for the CZ as I find my P07 to be a little too abrasive.
