Amazing what a cape can do.

Jokes&Bats, who used to be YellowJoshua, who created a secondary account here: Blackadder, just so they could send me threatening and abusive private messages.

So, I guess you should really feel sorry for yourself in the first instance. :lol

Confirmed by the Darklord Dave himself way back when.

Been away from the boards and this releases, like 200 pages behind lol. But I enjoyed the ride so far. This seems too good to pass, so decided I am getting one. Have the EB Bats coming as well, and got Lance's capes on Ebay. Time to sell my 1/6 Nolan figures, they should go a long way in dampening the financial blow.

Bit worried about Howard Chan's remark about putting 1/4 on the backburner for a while though. What if two years from now HT thinks they can make sweet $ with 1/4 regarding IM (or PI needs to be put down) and this scale becomes 50%-75% IM like 1/6? Or they start hogging all the licences?

Funny, in the EU the number of shops offering this release are surprisingly low (only a single Ebay listing). This guy is hard to find, maybe because of high price/risk? Settled for a local shop and put in my pre-order.

How will do you guys plan on displaying this big guy, in a custom case, besta, detolf? (sorry for mammoth post :peace)

I'm planning on taking out the bottom shelf in the Detolf and putting both of mine in that space. One raised behind with the BW head, the other in front with the Bats head.

OK. Let me set your record straight:

1. This is possibly the first, or the second, time I have actually labelled you a troll. That's because I find your general 'knowitall' attitude and condescension troll like. I also probably always consider you a troll due to the fact that.....

2. Biggest. Hypocrite. Award. Take a bow because you just won it.

People do that in a toy forum? Geez.

Back to the cowl... Hell, I got a Selina Kyle Figure JUST for it. Ended up liking her, but the point remains.
The EX IS the way to go in this one. Glad I preordered it.

If anyone is too fussed about not being able to get an EX at this late stage (and even that is assuming that more don't become available from SS through cancellations or increased stock), worry not. I'm sure within a few months there will be plenty of 1/4 cowls for sale on ebay.

If you want this figure, and you can get a regular at a price you are willing to pay, I'd get it. The cost of a reg now + ebay cowl later will probably still be cheaper than the typical non-preorder price that the EX is now going for (and will increase to later as supply dwindles further).

I think I maybe in the minority if I say that I love how the EB stand works, though cheaply made. I do appreciate diorama stands, but EB's black/aluminum stand for their TDK figures are simple enough not to steal the show from the figure itself, especially if displayed in neutral stance just like how I have my EB Batman on it, as well as Rorywan's QS001 in his photo.:)
