Re: Hot Toys-MMS 218-Batman(1966)-Batman 1/6th Scale Collectible Figure

I can't believe they are so 'cheap'. Was sure HT was going to gouge us on em.

They should be - minimal accessories and what is essentially material on a true type. They look very doll like.

*prepares for angry backlash*

EDIT - *prepares to not be bothered about angry backlash*

Knock yourselves out.

Aww don't you like my post about a TOY.

Feelings.....hurt....

Can't.....go on knowing......some random internet person......doesn't agree......with.......me!!!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

:peace

I just don't get why you'd even bother posting if you're only going to say how "awful" some quality figures are. Iron Man isn't my chosen line, but you don't see me going into each thread and saying how "awful" they are.

If you don't like them it's fine, but is the trolling really necessary?

Re: Hot Toys-MMS 218-Batman(1966)-Batman 1/6th Scale Collectible Figure

Was it true Adam West was running around in his spandex before the 89 film?

Re: Hot Toys-MMS 218-Batman(1966)-Batman 1/6th Scale Collectible Figure

My ONLY issue with these figures is the price. I know by today's standard these are cheaper. But, I paid just over 200 for my first Iron Man and everyone was complaining about prices going up then. There's really not much to these. Inflation be damned I say.

Re: Hot Toys-MMS 218-Batman(1966)-Batman 1/6th Scale Collectible Figure

True. Wasn't the T-1000 $165?

While I don't agree with Jokes and Bats, I don't know if that was trolling. Usually with every announcement there's people in the thread discussing what they don't like about the release.

Re: Hot Toys-MMS 218-Batman(1966)-Batman 1/6th Scale Collectible Figure

Also, I noticed that sideshow is now taking payments right away on flex option, instead of waiting till the release date is closer.

He's come in here more than once to make snide comments about the show and people who want the figures. At that point it's trolling if you ask me.

There's no denying these figures are great looking but recently seeing the film again on Sky HD, it goes way beyond campy.

Re: Hot Toys-MMS 218-Batman(1966)-Batman 1/6th Scale Collectible Figure

Wasn't expecting this dynamic duo to be up for Pre order today!!!! Now bring on the 1966 Batmobile!!! :rock

Re: Hot Toys-MMS 218-Batman(1966)-Batman 1/6th Scale Collectible Figure

$205! Great price!!! I hope pre-orders don't sell out fast. I want to use a $20 coupon for it...

Ok, I didn't know the history. :peace

Has anyone PO'd them yet? I'm curious to know if they take the full payment out right away. Cause if you do flex, they start taking the payments out the following month.

Re: Hot Toys-MMS 218-Batman(1966)-Batman 1/6th Scale Collectible Figure

For sure... Way more color too, which is nice. I know my Keaton Batman will get sold.
They will pop on the shelf, for sure. Simple, colorful, and iconic. Can't ask for much more than that.

'66 Batman is what I grew up on, watching reruns whenever I could find them with what few tv stations we had.
Yeah, same here. And I think it will look great next to Reeve, though I plan on having an all Batman-related shelf if HT gives us those characters (I doubt they will honestly).

If you don't like them it's fine, but is the trolling really necessary?
He's obviously just posting to get a response. Nothing a troll hates more than being ignored, so. . .
