Before this figure was announced, this should have been a DX. T-1000 with PERS would have been fantastic. This is the character that you get different looks with just the position of the eyes and head tilts.

Work in progress for a-dev

I agree. However, they put a ton of stuff in the MMS release so at least we didn't get short changed.

Didn't someone do a really cool frozen T-1000 custom already? I'm sure the pics are buried in this thread somewhere.

Thats not the point though. The facial expressions can't be pulled off like the film as you would just by moving the eyes.

No, I got it. I was just saying that we pretty much got a DX figure, accessory wise, minus the PERS. I agree though that the PERS would have been really important to get movie accurate looks.

Like this...

Funny how they give the cheesy figures PERS and the ones that really need it, don't get it.

Yeah, It's essential on something like the DX09.

However to further prove your point, here's my Luke. I have him in a simple pose where he has his gun drawn, but I moved his eyes to the left so it looks like he's scanning the room. PERS can add to certain characters and poses.

:yess::yess::yess:

This is a dream figure. I left it up to Elvis to decide if he does a broken limbed version or a still standing and attempting to walk version. Both of which I would consider very cool to own. On the one hand that image of frozen T-1000 looking at his wrist stump is so memorable but so too is the sight of him looking towards the heroes while struggling to lift his feet off the ground. I couldn't decide.

Great stuff, man.
Can´t believe you´re getting that version.
The most awesome on it is the ice effect.
Perfect but simple: Artificial Snow for the christmas tree.
:lol

So I'm strictly collecting high end figures as of late... How much does the t-1000 run thats actually reasonable???

Actually i'm not using artifical snow for x-mas tree. I'm using snow for miniature diorama. The scale of the snow is better.

I mixed it with paint and white glue and apply it with a brush.

Awesome, I love these little fluxes on the Terminator front after quiet spells.

Still hoping for an update on the HT Police Shootout figure, hopefully that hasn't been put on the backburner!

I finally got my hands on one and it arrived today. Just took him out for a second to get a picture. He is awesome. He looks a lot better in hand. I see more resemblance to Robert Patrick than I do in photos.

Hahahah, well I agree it isn't the best likeness, but In Hand I see more of Robert Patrick than I do in any pictures of the figure.

However, he looks nothing like the picture you posted. :)
