WELCOME ABOARD MY FRIEND!Always look towards seeing your PICS.!!:yess:
Wayne headsculpt is the best we have seen IMO, they have definitely studied the EB head and then improved on it. The rest? Mixed bag. Some good, some great, some derpy as hell. Properly displayed though, will look great. EB still ahead though IMO. But enough goodness here to make it a worthwhile purchase.
:goodpost:Your right bro!Hey i saw your work on the Joker(both HT & EB) and WOW,your skillz have seriously improved my friend!:clap
They won't abandoned the scale unless EB bans it. They want to beat EB at their own game, so I wouldn't worry. ;)
Hopefully they haven't but according to a recent interview with Howard Chan,he stated that HT will mainly focus on bringing only 1/6 scale figures. He also stated that HT will leave the other scales to the other guyz(He mainly meant PI cause of their recent IM3 line). He did say that the 1/4 scale figure that were announced will still be produced but at the moment they are on hold.
It will jump up and stay high for a while, then go down below retail next year. Just like EB's :lol that figure looks amazing and I'm just confused why it isn't selling out. Maybe EB produce more than the market demands for 1/4 market, or maybe people are just not digging 1/4 scale action figure all that much.
Well it could be a couple of things, one that they produced more Batman figures than Joker in anticipation of a bigger selling figure or while producing the Batman's 3rd batch they lost the license and couldn't produce Joker so that would explain why Joker sold out faster.Of course this is just a theory!:wink1:

I think that the EB Batman is 18" (46 cm) while the HT Batman is 1/2" or a cm taller with the cowl. So the height discrepancy won't be too noticeable. I honestly think that the 1/4 Enterbay TDK figures may dry up because people are going to want them to complement the Hot Toys one. I think if Hot Toys is planning on doing the Begins suit, they should announce it soon while the interest in this figure is at an all-time high.

I just measured my EB Bats and he is 19.5"(give or take a cm)from bottom of boot to the points of his cowl. You might be right about the EB figure seeing a boost in sales because of this my friend!:wink1:

I ordered late so I got mine through BBTS, so i'm not expecting this to come anytime soon. prob mid to late October is when I think people who ordered from them will be getting theirs. hopefully they'll surprise us and get it to us sooner .......

I'm happy we got 4 mouths...but, in many scenes, he would have his lips slightly parted. I don't know why HT went through the trouble to give us a 4th mouth, but not the most obvious one.

Yeah, that would have been better too.

There are only 3 useable faces here, unless you an to make some kind of parody display.

Is the one all the way to the left Jim Carrey?
I was just thinkin that!?:lol

The mouth second from the left is ridiculous in the extreme. Looks like he's saying the "f" word. Why they chose two have 3 open mouth faces instead of including an angry closed mouth face will forever be a mistery to me.
Yeah,i'm kinda disappointed that the only closed mouth is the neutral one but at least the two from the right look AWESOME!OVerall this is one hella figure and while it doesn't quite top the EB sculpt it still a better figure!Truly EPIC!:yess:

So he could turn his head at last....only to find he could barely breath.

Haha yeah lol. Im surprised the designers didnt try to make it easier for Bale.

By the way, has anyone talked about the wrinkles on the Bruce Wayne sculpt? I love it! Bruce is old and worn out, and the wrinkles on the sculpt are just perfect in showing that!

I think these angles look the most Like Bale out of any head sculpt to date

And I was about to say those don't look like Bale at all....weird.

Which goes to show that a sculpt's likeness, no matter how OBJECTIVELY good or bad, still ends up being a SUBJECTIVE matter. It's all in the eyes of the beholder. That is why all this "I can't see Bale here", "Wayne sculpt sucks!", "Adams/Cregs/whoever's better!", "this is the best Wayne sculpt!", etc are just redundant and tiring arguments.

Figure looks awesome. I just realized that according to the thread code (QS001) that this is Hot Toys first 1/4 scale figure.

Those details are awesome. The little wrinkles, spots, and the details on the eyebrows and eyes look really amazing. Can't get that level of detail on a 1/6 scale head sculpt.

Who got it closer . A little bit different angles but HT does look a little closer to me.

I don't think either of them got him right to be honest. You can tell who they're supposed to be, yes. But for some reason neither company can seem to get it so right that he is unmistakeable for anyone else.
