Is that like a gay version of hooked on phonics?

In short:

Homophonics is a method for teaching reading and writing the English language by developing learners' homophonemic awareness—the ability to hear, identify, and manipulate homophonemes—in order to teach the correspondence between these sounds and the spelling patterns that represent them.

It is my hope that one day we will all be able to understand one another. Celtic has made many advancements in this field and while I applaud his efforts, I fear his postings might be construed as too geigh.

That's Sweet Pickles the Iguana. I believe it's part of the "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" children's book.

:nono He's not that Superman anymore, remember?

Which by definition, means that it is not really Superman anymore. He is...Bulletproofflyingspacealienwithincrediblestrengthbutwiththatisalsomostofthetimearatherangryman!!

I thought he looked familiar! When they have finished with him, they should try making some actual Superman films. It's OK to call this new character that...that emblem is not an 'S', remember?

Stop trying to un-derail this thread guys! :cuss

But films starring Bulletproofflyingspacealienwithincrediblestrengthbutwiththatisalsomostofthetimearatherangryman could be really cool! I hear that in the sequel he will be co-starring with HorsefacedmanthatwillbedressedinblackfoamlatexthatlookskindofbatlikeandthathasanincrediblechinthastevenBruceTHECHINCampbellwouldbejealousofandwhowassototalywrongforDareDevilbutstillmanagedtogetthegigandisnowprayingthatwithhisloveofcomicshewillgettodirectthesecondsequeltoBulletproofflyingspacealienwithincrediblestregthbutwiththatisalsomostofthetimearatherangryman. Which is going to be really cool!

And here I thought you might do something heroic like this:

Still don't see the logic in that.

The whole point of the stereotypical Smallville upbringing is to build out Kal-El as Clark and instill that "more human than human" character trait into Superman before he even sets foot in Metropolis. To say "he can be" is essentially saying "he isn't that person yet," which completely negates the necessity of having him grow up in "Smallville." If you still can't see the logic in it, I'd suggest picking up some 4-color books to bury your nose in and get acquainted with the character.

It's not that I don't "get it", I get it, but I reject it.

The values are there, the experience isn't.

It negates nothing, if you don't see that in the movie, well, you can borrow my 4-color books. :thwak

The experience thing is BS.

Batman was Batman in Begins for like....a week, tops, and yet he went around saving people, and didn't kill anyone.

Sorta.

And therein lies the flawed logic. :lol

Not really.

The experience thing is BS.

Batman was Batman in Begins for like....a week, tops, and yet he went around saving people, and didn't kill anyone.

Sorta.

Is not bs, it's valid.

In BB Bruce trained for like decades before becoming Batman, besides, there's no comparison with Batman's enemies, at all.

Even though, Superman saved people too.
