I'm waiting for my opportunity to nab a cheap eb joker! I can't justify paying $600+ for a figure!!

Start a WTB thread over on the marketplace section and remain patient! You should be able to find someone who's looking to unload one for a good price.

yep , but before it is actually released , the one fourth scale batman is $ 630 on ebay and most of the collectible sites are offering it for $ 529.99+ tax ( dpending where u are ) + shipping..and most of the time there are already sold out or OUT OF STOCK..

Just imagine when the figure will be ready on september, what will be the prices, worst after a couple of month or a year ..People are going crazy..

Just like the DX 12 , there is no way you could get it under $299.99 online now..

I wonder what will be the real price of this wonderful one fourth scale batman next year

The only pictures I trust for final product pictures are the EBay ones of like the head or the hands, so the figure is in regular lighting and not in flooded lighting to make it look better IMO.

Yeah those would be the best ones to trust, because even a poor looking sculpt can look good in those lighting conditions.

Ok so im having bit of a issue... The seller i pre ordered this guy off a year ago has basically not replied to 2 of my recent messages. Should i assume iv been well and truly scammed or wait until release to start torturing this guys life all over the internet?

Yeah those would be the best ones to trust, because even a poor looking sculpt can look good in those lighting conditions.

For me I liked the eBay DX12 pics. I can't wait to see his parts on eBay too

Ah, Loonten toys, the only language they speak is money. Try what I did a few years ago, if they don't reply on the third try, contact eBay customer service, and I guaranty that Loonten toys will contact you back.

I have a funny feeling about this figure. The SDCC pics blew me away, but the coming soon pics from Hot Toys to me just does not look the same. Kind of reminds me of the Hot toys MMS 71 promo pics were spot on in day, and when we got it in hand it was a totally different figure.

Yeah, from what I've seen his head gets wider after each event

I knew Hardy was going to be lolz the day he was announced in the role.

I'll never forget the crappy Heinz stadium recording that one of the extras got of him during his speech as Bane in Pittsburgh. Fans swore up and down that, "oh, he'll never sound like an elderly man/Sean Connery, it's the audio or Hardy's just messing around and it will be changed in post", trying to defend it.

Nope.


To this day I'll never be able to believe someone that puny would be able to lift a grown man in an 80 pound rubber costume over his head, onto his knee. Now his ripped body double I might, but Hardy? Nahhh. It's not just the height or the body mass either, that's superficial when it comes to the acting which is most important. My thing is, anyone could have played that character with that stupid mask and voice.

As for Ledger, I know I doubted him (and that doubt was proved wrong). I didn't get worked up like people did then though, or like they're doing now.

The only negative I'm seeing when looking at this pic is that his head is back to looking tiny to me. It's the same size as his shoulder pads. :/
