Re: Man of Steel 2 (Superman/Batman--Official title to be confirmed)

After the Aurora, CO shooting I'm not surprised Bale wanted off the crazy train.

Oh DC, you guys never cease to amaze me and not in a good way. Shall wait and see how it goes.

Now he's one of the only actors to play multiple comic superheroes (other than Chris Evans).

He played Superman, Daredevil, and now Batman.

Re: Man of Steel 2 (Superman/Batman--Official title to be confirmed)

Overwhelming? Isn't the announcement like 15 minutes old? There's only like five of us even talking about it right now. :lol

You just wait. The rage wave is coming:lol

Dude. Check facebook :) It was allready pandemonium in the comments, the moment I clicked on the news.

Never underestimate the power of nerd rage.

Re: Man of Steel 2 (Superman/Batman--Official title to be confirmed)

If the first thing that pops into people's minds is Daredevil, and how this is going to suck, they need to edumacate themselves. Maybe that's why WB is releasing a new edition of Argo, as a means of saying "please do your research, comic book geeks.":lol

Re: Man of Steel 2 (Superman/Batman--Official title to be confirmed)

Dunno how I should feel about this .

Re: Man of Steel 2 (Superman/Batman--Official title to be confirmed)

I don't mind this. I think he'll be a pretty good batman.

I wouldn't have predicted that quote in a million years :monkey3

He's grown as a director not as an actor.
He screwed over Marvel with his thespian chops it's only fair he do it to DC/Warner as well.

Re: Man of Steel 2 (Superman/Batman--Official title to be confirmed)

Well, I was half right. I knew that somebody from The Town was going to be Batman.:lol

Re: Man of Steel 2 (Superman/Batman--Official title to be confirmed)

Atleast we are getting a better bat voice

He's turned in solid performances in both of those films. My only thing is that we haven't really seen him in something other than one of his own projects in a few years outside of what? Runner Runner (that's coming out soon)?

Re: Man of Steel 2 (Superman/Batman--Official title to be confirmed)

Fanboys, nerds, etc. always have a problem with it.

They threatened to riot and sent petitions when Michael Keaton was announced as Batman and he ended up being a great Batman. They cried foul saying a pretty Aussie boy known for chick flicks was wrong when Heath Ledger was announced as the Joker . . . and he ended up being a great Joker.

Happens every time.

Re: Man of Steel 2 (Superman/Batman--Official title to be confirmed)

I complained when Chris Evans was announced as Cap. Now TFA is my favorite superhero movie of all time. :lol

I'll wait and see on this one. Affleck has surprised me before.

Yep. I'll admit, I was younger and stupider when the Ledger casting came out. I wasn't vocal about it, but, of course, my first thought was "they couldn't do any better than the dude from Brokeback Mountain?" It happens every time, and I'm hoping that Mr. Affleck sticks it to him. That dude has gotten a lot of **** over the years that I think (a good chunk of it, anyway) was unwarranted.

Re: Man of Steel 2 (Superman/Batman--Official title to be confirmed)

You don't know that...

Im sure anything is better than that raspy bat voice we had before.:lol As a huge batfan. i could care less about this announcement becuase I have been surprised before by actors whom I didnt think were fit for the role.
