That would be nice, i'd have two! I would hate to "destroy" one of them.

In addition to a booming secondary market on replacement goggles, I can also see an emerging market for custom made "destroyed goggles" photos designed for people to send in.

i'm assuming most break when lifting them up...

This, although there have been reports of them breaking whilst on her head in the up position.

Although I think that that's a rarer occurrence than when in the act of moving those brittle goggle arms up.

I ordered mine from BBTS, so I suppose they have the replacement program for then goggles like Sideshow.

Did you have to send in the broken ones?

You have five days after you receive your replacement goggles/mask to send them pictures of the destroyed item. They recommend putting it in a pillow case and hitting it with a heavy blunt object like a hammer.

I got my replacements and it took me four days to bring myself to actually hammer them. I sent the pictures in last week but have not heard anything further so I assume everything is done with on this.

I did break down and put the new goggles/mask on Selina. The mask was a stiffer rubber than my first one but the goggles are identical in material so great care still needs to be exercised. I asked them what Hot Toys had to say on the matter and if they were discussing making a sturdier version to replace the current goggles... these questions were ignored with out even recognition that they were asked.

That's weird, why would they ask you to send them in AFTER they send replacement, or break them? I know BBTS asks you to send it back first (I think they cover shipping) and then they send the new replacement afterwards.

Just got mine in today & it's so much better looking in-hand. There've been a number of photos here that have captured how nice this one looks, but nothing beats seeing it for yourself.

That said, I haven't attempted the dreaded goggle installation yet...

I guess they don't like to say "no".:lol

What will happen if they send you replacement goggles and you never show them pics of your original broken goggles?

Loving this figure!

Got her tody and she's a pretty decent figure in hand. Honestly I was nearly as excited for her like I was Bane or some others. She's not one that's great by herself imo so I put her with the other two Hot Toys Batman figures I own and she looks much better. I got the mask and hair easily enough and really my only complaint is her left ankle came broken. I'm not really sweating it but that's pretty crappy. Other than that I'm enjoying her much more than I thought I would.

So I took the risk as always with one of my sculpts :)

A.Cut her Hair
B. Restyled It
c. Lightened it (Recolored) I couldn't stand how dark it was :slap

I like it! :clap

Props to Florerairfoot for the inspiration!:wave

Looks great, i can't stand the length of her hair stock, always had an issue with that! Any way to taper the ends a little?

I thought the hair was too dark as well, when I lightened it, it popped out more!

I'm still working on it, I'm going to curve the fringes some more.

Looks amazing!

Love the new color; what did you use for that?

A simple red brown wash with highlights. Something I'm used too.

Worked on the fringes some more made them curvier and added more highlights. Repositioned the mask
Almost satisfied. The body's curves really pop out to me now with the shorter lighter hair.
