Yawn @ franchise.DC is trying everything to keep up with Marvel in the movie World.

They're never going to catch them at the rate Marvel is going. I'm really impressed with how far the Marvel Universe films have gotten.

Honestly, though, Bomer's sexuality shouldn't matter. He shouldn't be Batman...because Jon Hamm should. Seriously, though, I always thought Bomer'd make a better Superman, anyway.

I hope they get somebody I don't know or recognize to be Batman. The one nobody expects is the one that always works out for the best.

A relative newcomer would be fine with me.

Cavill did fine as Superman, and I wasn't really familiar with him before seeing it. Now, I wish Snyder had told him to cheer up a little and not be so melancholy, but I won't blame Cavill for how he was directed.

I had no idea who Cavill was and he worked perfectly.


Same with Reeve, same with Keaton, same with Bale, same with Ledger. Well, I actually knew who the last three were prior to the Batman films release (I saw Beetlejuice, I saw American Psycho, I saw the Patriot, etc.) but they weren't the obvious choice that the fans were clamoring for.

These movies show that the unexpected underdog is usually the one that turns out the best instead of the obvious choice. I prefer unknowns.

My 2 favorite characters are coming to the big screen in 1 epic film directed by one of my favorite directors! IM SO F^$K(NG HYPE!!!

This was a powerhouse movie by WB and it was about time! I hope they cast a good batman that cavill can play well off of.
