I'm really digging everything but the masked HS. The proto looked so much better. I'm not sure if the proto had real mask on apart from the real net on the mouth area, or sculpted just like the final product. The way the eyes and flesh part of the HS sits on the final product was done haphazardly

I agree. The flesh part isn't inset enough. I wonder if they will get the assembly better worked out before this hits the US. It seems that the initial releases often have some bumps that get worked out in production.
Or this could be a manufacturing problem where one piece has shrunk more then another and so things don't line up as well.

His body certainly won't look like that... just a regular ol' truetype narrow... pretty ugly bare.

I kind of prefer the shirtless look... his costume design is so lame.

I hope so. While I don't really like the costume design, I won't deny that this figure is amazing, and if the next batches would have the flesh part sitting much better on the sculpted head that would be great. If not, I'm sure it could be fixed with ungluing and sanding the flesh part then have it re-glued in place.

Was it ever shown/mentioned that the figure would have the Arashikage tattoo on his forearm?

Check out eBay; I've seen the nude. It's a TT slim padded with some underwear crap. No tattoo; sucks. And duh; I didn't answer your question. I wasn't mentioned.
