the matty figures are too expensive, at least $60.00 per figure.

Great pics. I started collecting 1/6 Hot Toys @ 4 years ago and am actually surprised how much I still love the 6" DC Universe and Marvel Legends.

Yeah! DCUC is my most favorite of all my collections. Even If I go broke, homeless and my clothes in tatters; i'll make a suit out of my DCUC figures to keep 'em with me.

Where did you get the Red Hood figure? Is it a custom or an ebay purchase from a Chinese seller? I don't think it comes out on Matty for a couple months.

Does anyone have pics of the DCUC/Unlimited New 52 Superman (or any DCUC figures) next to the 13'' DC Collectibles New 52 Darkseid. I know Darkseid is a lot taller in the N52 but would he be in scale with the DCUC figures?

Picked up new 52 Supes and Bats today at K-Mart along with Red Robin and Superboy Prime. All 4 are pretty cool - was excited to actually see them on the shelf. Reeeally like Superboy Prime. Also picked up Injustice Superman, Batman, Joker and new 52 Aquaman. I really dig Injustice Superman...even though he is tiny compared to my other Mattel figures. Aquaman is cool but I think the new 52 DC Direct version is my favorite Aquaman atm.

Pulled my DC Classics out of storage and they're whiting over. Rinsed some cold water and it went away but I'm worried about what's happening at a level i can't see - is this genuine plastic breakdown or some kind of mold growing? I saw this once before on a Demon Batman Movie Master but that figure was still carded so i never handle it. Anyone else have this problem?

Haven't seen it on any of my DCUCs figs except those from wave 3, which have all been replaced with their All-Star rereleases.

Apparently it's some type of plastic mold. I would try and isolate the ones that its appearing on. Unfortunately, there's not much information out there about this online.

So I should scrap these figures than? What a waste of money! Was it related to the lead paint fiasco? Thanks for the info!

I wouldn't dump them. They probably aren't degrading fast enough to be noticeable. Perhaps there will be a cure...someday.

Actually, I've had some limited success with applying vegetable oil on them. The white dust comes back a lot slower. I don't know if there could be any type of chemical reaction with the oil though. So attempt at your own risk.

On a side note, who else thinks this is the final year for our beloved DC line?

Im collecting the Watchmen line. Bummed to hear that there will be no second year to that line. Its an expensive line for what you get but the figures are well sculpted.
