We're all complaining about the shipping for this and rightfully so (though I imagine those complaints would melt into oblivion once this beauty is in hand). Now imagine had Hot Toys gone through with the 1:1 The Bat and what those shipping charges would have been.

The shipping for the Bat could've been free and I wouldn't buy that silly looking thing.

$44.29 shipping from BBTS actually sounds like a bargain.

$262.49 shipping to Ireland were I to order from them. Now lets try Toys2....damn, out of stock, can't. But it would be even more than the BBTS quote.

I know after this, BD Terminator and the Robocop stuff I'm done. Can't keep up with this anymore.


For almost $800 shipped, this thing better be free of any quality control issues, have a strong, durable build (none of that brittle, cheap crap), and a solid armor shield canopy. This should be the least fragile Hot Toys item to date. The only thing we should worry about snapping is the steering wheel.

You can't.

I wanted to do this too (hate that the box will have BATMOBILE COLLECTIBLE written all over it) but Sideshow only allows pack out for figure sized boxes, that's it.

I hope they atleast wrap it in paper, but who are we kidding, this is sideshow. They're the only company that doesn't double box and asks for $10 if you want a cheap outer cardboard box.

Mission accomplished. I appreciate both movies more just based on the generosity of one diehard fan. We're good. 89 Bats and T2 are good too.

Maybe instead of buying me a DX13 Arnold get yourself a Hathaway Selina Kyle so you can enjoy THAT movie more.
