Got mine just today. Spent about 2,5 hours to assemble it with care and some little mods to make parts less fragile. This figure is absolutely stunning! This is the Maximus I've dreamed about for a long time, right in the general armor with this awesome cloak and the wolf's skin. And he does look like Crowe in his hamlet, a lot like Crowe for me. This figure gave me some great assembling time and this is one sweet item for my collection too. I'm so super very happy to have it. It's so detailed and well executed.


Also, I've got the HotToys City Hunter in the same package today. And, GOD!, this predator is one big and stinky pile of $h1t. I just hate almost everything about it. Nice to have Maximus this awesome in the same day.
 
Looks great! I have the same idea as you V-Rapor...ie Leonidas next to him...ie a movie generals display.
Now if ACI or someone would make the Katsumoto from Last Samurai that would be a nice display!

Still waiting...pre-ordered mine last Sept.

I just wanted to show how awesome this figure is. This is actually one of the best in-shock 1/6 scale figure I've bought last few years. I was not expecting much from this one and even thought to skip it as a pre-order, but WOW... just WOW.

Dude that's horrible. At this point I would have thought you should have received it. ACI has already offered their last batch on their website. What is your seller saying?
 
what happened to all this talk bout this arriving in august for us distributors?
 
Yeah but they seem 2 b the only ones in the us to have received their stock... where's the rest?
 
see what im sayin? im wonderin if all 1500 pieces have all been sold out to all the other countries & a few select distributors in the US... then they didnt have enough to send to the other vendors still waiting for their orders.. i certainly hope this isnt the case cause its gonna suck to get an email from my vendor after a 7 month wait & they tell me its not coming.. ahhh shizer, i should just put this money towards the new Hulk..

That better not happen, as it would set a precedent to USA buyers against ACI
 
Geez, this makes for bad reading. I hope you guys get this sorted out real soon, this has gone on way too long.
