The space station is okay. I think we just really like having out just the lot of us, without other people running around.

I'm not going to buy another place because it gets too expensive. As much as I love ps home, I don't want to put too much cash into it. It's just stupid that my friends can see the content in the garage and not the hills home. I would have bought more of the mansion that belongs to the garage, but not at $15 per space. That's just ridiculous. So I'll just deal I guess. Until they get their crap straight and make this more fun.

I wish there was a way around the 2 items thing. Even a hack would be good at this point. ;)

I hear ya. I've spent a bit of money on Home but I do tend to spend a few hours in it every week, exploring new content, watching videos or just unlocking new items for decorating purposes. I have at least 12 personal spaces, each dedicated to a different license (i.e. Tron), or theme (medieval, sci-fi, military, etc.)

When buddies are online, I tend to invite them to my Mansion space, where I have the following games/activities set up on the second floor:

Pac-Man arcade cabinet
Xevious arcade cabinet
Dig Dug arcade cabinet
Galaga arcade cabinet
Trigger Happy-In-A-Box arcade cabinet
Cabin Boy arcade cabinet
American pool (already included in the space)
Darts (already included in the space)
Brimstone Poker table (active item #1)

Leaving me with one active item slot that can be filled with either chess, solitaire, or a future game release.

So, let's say I buy the entire mansion. Does each space that I buy get 2 interactive items? So if I buy the second floor, that has 2. And then later I buy the first, etc. OR, once I have the whole package, will I be able to only set up 2? Was that all just word soup, or did you understand it?

Each separate section of the mansion has its own 50-item and 2-active item limit. So, theoretically, if you own all four Mansion spaces, you could have 200 items placed in addition to 8 active items.

Note that your visitors can't explore different parts of the Mansion without you; while the four sections are (somewhat) interconnected, guests can only be in the same space as the host. If you leave, say, the first floor to go to the infinity pool, all of your guests will be booted back to the navigator screen until you re-invite them to join you at the pool space.

That's why I set up my "hangout" on the second floor, as I find it gives you the most flexibility for enteraining guests due to the two built-in games and the fact that it has a furnished bar with the TV.

Send me an invite and I'll give you a tour, if you'd like.

Two year bump. Have any of you guys checked out Playstation Home recently? There are lots of prizes from their E3 event space, including a free month of Playstation Plus.

yeah i was playing all the quest in the E3 room ( ie watch all our commercials ) but none of reward codes were loading. Also how do you get the Beyond theme, they were talking about?

The themes are provided through the voucher codes that you have to redeem in the Playstation Store. My codes were not loading initially, as well. But they did when I exited and re-entered the E3 room.

That's a good question. I'm not sure if Sony covered it in their E3 Press Conference (as I still have yet to watch it in its entirety). But, I also couldn't find any news of Home on the net. I have a feeling that it might end up being exclusive to just the PS3.

Is PS Home still used a lot? I remember when PS3 was still in its first two years it was relatively busy, but I honestly forgot about it since I don't know anyone who still uses it.

I heard that Pottermore and Harry Potter are somehow in Home now. Anyone done that? I don't even have my PS3 hooked to the internet anymore.

Same, I hooked mine up for the first time in more than half a year, just to get all the updates in place so I can play the Last of Us without an hour of online stuff

Wow, I didn't realise people still used Playstation Home :lol

Likewise! I hope now that playstation has a monthly fee they could use it to fix their whole social experience. Starting with enabling a party chat feature and then upgrading their interface. Let's be honest here, that is one of MS's huge selling points and I hope PS can adopt that.

I tried loading it up so I could watch the PS4 event on my TV instead of the computer but the thing wouldn't load.

Ok, I 'suffered' with Home today to try and get the last of us E3 theme....its quiet, confusing, slow - just awful - they need to just do away with HOME

I completely agree. Sony needs to get rid of Home and find another way to improve the social experience for gamers. It's pretty ridiculous that four years after release, Home is still in its "beta" stage. I still visit Home a few times a week just for the mini-games. But, it's not something that I'd miss when I finally have my PS4.
