262, I think. I always hope for something in the first 10 or 20% of the run, but this time I didn't even make it into the first 50%. Oh, well. Once it's on the shelf, I don't spend a lot of time looking at the number written underneath. But I always hope for a low one anyway.

The more I look at this one, the more I like it.

This statue looks nice! Thanks tomandshell for sharing pics! Face sculpts of Frodo and Sam turned out great! Can't wait for mine to arrive some time next week. The tache thing you mentioned on Sam, is it not just dirt or was really part of the paint app? Maybe Sam did grow it when he was in Mordor! You know, stressed out and no razor available?

What is the advantage of having a low number?

They probably make them all at the same time, inspect them, put them in the boxes, grab the base randomly, wrote the number on the box and pack it.

Nothing really. I'm sure that's exactly what they do to be honest with you. Getting a low number is just cool for no good reason. It doesn't make me like a item anymore or less.

Even though i'm not a fan of the Orc Clothes idea SS have done a great job with these,the detail is brilliant,the head sculpts are pretty decent to,especially Frodo
