That's the thing with light up sabers. They work now but a few years down they mst likely can die out for whatever reasons. Love LSF mauls size! Wow predator LSF looks like a PF next to him.

Once together he has a good weight.. the hands, and saber are solid.. the base is huge, but hollow.. the legs with boot are mid range hollow but nothing is paper thin (RoboCop bust hollow) and the torso and head are hollow...fully assembled he is a nice weight..The cloak is probably at least 2-2.5 lbs of material..That being said the detail is awesome, and the costume is amazing. He just holds a very commanding presence...I haven't had one viewer yet that hasn't eww'ed and ahhh'ed when viewing him... the comment I get is.."it's like a 1/2 wax figure.. he looks like he's about to speak"... Most are not even Star Wars fans...I have had no problem with my light up feature and paint apps at all...Sorry, I know this is more info than you asked AL. There are two other Mauls in my area and all three have come from SSC in perfect condition. My only flaw was the glue holding the base plate on the bottom of the base.. was dry and that thin sheet was off.. it took me 5 minutes to re-glue it and it's perfect. I recently got a nice end table pedestal base for him and he's at the right height and looks like a million bucks... I noticed as these LSF end.. their prices are going way up. I don't care really bar only a disaster I'm not selling. I have the Reaper coming as soon as he ships, and have the Dark Rider of Morder PF which is huge at 31" on flex.. that statue has the wow factor, awesome looking, huge and a great animated pose with the hell horse... I was not planning on any PF's but this statue looks amazing... then I wait patiently for Doom, Indy and Ben...we shall see..

Did you used to collect PF? How do you feel know that you own the LSF? Do you worry about space for many of them to come? Just want to see how a collector feels about these big monsters. If I do get these LSF I would have to sell my PF otherwise I have no room. If. They make a batman, wonder woman, and superman LSF that would be so tempting to get them. The bad thing is the LSF prices are now getting g higher 2000.00 plus? Soon it may be 2500.00 or more for bigger statues like hulk. Maybe 3500.00 to 4000.00? Lol I don't think I like statues that much to spend like that. Lol... But congrats on the owners of the LSF. They look awesome!

IMO.. I really love these LSFs.. I have Wolf and Maul.. with Wolverine coming... I had the Reaper but cancelled, it looks great and I'm sure it will be, but after much thought.. it didn't mean anything to me..wasn't movie of comic related.. so I saved myself a grand... and put that away for Doom or Indy. First off these are not large PFs as some may say.. They really command the room/collection... I did collect PF's and just got bored and wanted something more and different! I also had a large collection of HT and Enterbay.. all were sold to make way for the LSFs, and I don't regret it one bit.. different strokes for different folks! In fact I'm saving money now.. It's a shame more collectors can't see these figures...seeing them "will" make you want them! I'm not going to get every LSF just the ones I like. I don't have unlimited room, but it is nice to have a separate room to display these, but I have seen some great multi-room collectable integration...
Bottom line, buy what you like.. if you can afford it great, if not collect in the financial realm that you can.. I've seen some amazing things from $1.00 up to $20,000. More money doesn't make it great, but I think these LSF are great, and will at least hold their value and as with the PF's some will increase two fold... There are a few here that will just hate, and trash anything they can.. don't listen, buy it for you.. buy it because something about it speaks to you... and never buy if your in doubt.

Wow great info! Thanks so much. Too bad here I never seen a LSF before. Well maybe a broken iron man but I don't even know if it was a LSF? It was pretty big at a comic shop I saw on vacation last year. I'm starting to get bored with PF a bit and might consider these big things. But for now I'm just going to think a while first. Too bad by then wolvie, maul, etc will be sold out already. I love the LSF obi wan! He looks so badass. I wished I could see these in person someday.
one last thing I wanted to ask you so when you were buying HT and PF, were you spending more then now buying these big guys? I mean 2 or 3 PF is 1000.00 already right? Makes me want to dump some of my PF. If I did I would get obi wan, and maybe wolvie depending on the claws. If they are plastic looking I really don't know... But keep posting more pics of your LSF! I want to see obi next to your maul when you get it. 
I'm sure you will get a vader and boba fett LSF in the future!I put Maul on Flex last month but there is no way I could wait so I'm going to pay this bad boy off this month. If I love Maul I will get Obi-Wan as well whenever he's released. I still will continue to buy PF's but my 1/6 buying days are long gone.

Lol I think it a great choice. Nothing against HT. They looked awesome just my own preference as well.
btw why is HT so freaking expensive? They are almost the same as PF.

If there is that many floating around I would say there may be the chance of a large price cut in the future, if there is then I may be tempted but it would have to be one hell of a price cut.

Same here. I guess I'm probably the only person that is glad that 25% off code was only for new customers. When I first started reading about the code and thought that it was for everyone I was going to pull the trigger when I got home from work last night.
After finding out it was only for new customers I was a little bummed out for sure but when I woke up this morning and realized that I would have still been out $1500 I'm okay with it now

If there's a coupon for 25% off for new customers, then it would make perfect sense to have a friend (not a current customer of SS) to make the purchase for you. Not trying to be totally dishonest in the situation, but $500 pretty much makes it worth the little bit of extra effort.
Finally completed the order for this and it should ship out today, I can't wait!! Can someone who owns this please let me know the dimensions of the base and the entire saber.. I'm trying to figure out where this is going and knowing the dimesnions would be a huge help. Thanks in advance guys.

Hi the base is 19"x19" and the saber is 49" from tip to tip.. hope this helps and Congrats!.
Wow that saber is big I def want to display Maul with the full saber so I might have to move some stuff around. Thanks for the info it was a big help.
