Re: Ringwraith on Steed PF..Link to buy in 1st Post.

I reglued the entire leather for the scabbard all around...they used that rubbery glue which can pull apart so easily...be gentle no over forcing...That hood is no joke to get it right...I wish I could get it like the SSW Ringwraith bust....hardest statue to put together to date by SS I think...not as heavy as I thought but still heavy enough...I took Vlads coat wrap off and put him in the photo...I like it

really really appreciate if someone can take a pic of the sword before assembling.

Re: Ringwraith on Steed PF..Link to buy in 1st Post.

Just got the DROM pf and it does look great in person.

However, on mine, the back right foot does not set into the base and just hovers slightly above the base. The right hoof is not even touching the base. The left foot sits flush into the base though so all the weight of the statue rests on the left foot.

Also, the tail does not sit flush into the statue and a gap is visible. The tail feels loose on the statue. However the cloth covers this so it is not obvious when displayed.

Is this the norm with this statue or should I get a replacement?

For $800, I would not take a chance with the one-leg situation....

I had the same issue with mine. I didn't notice that there was a metal peg in each foot at first. The right foot has the big peg while the left foot has a smaller one. I could get the big peg in but had a hard time getting the smaller one to align. It took me a while but I finally got it.

Hemooo - I'm going to make an assembly vid since as far as I can see we don't have one. :wink1:

My DR is due in a few hours.

And the tail?

I actually removed my tail until I had both pegs in nice and flush. Once I had that worked out I lifted up the leg with the large peg just enough so I could slip the tail back on and set the foot with the large peg back down. After that everything was nice and flush including the tail.

After spending some quality time with this guy all I can say is pictures just do not do it justice and really can't show just how massive it is. The presence this thing gives off when you enter the room is crazy.

This is hands down my favorite PF I own.

Posts like that... finally got me to lay down a flexpay on this guy. I need to get something to display him and Sauron whenever they come in.
