NECA 1/4 scale predator

My P1 and P2 both have taken spills and Robocop went from being regular to battle damaged after it took a spill. For this reason plus all the new 1/4 figures coming out I decided to make a universal stand for Neca figures. I also asked Corrose if he would make decals for these if people were interested. He said yes and they would run around $9.00!

I should be done with this by tomorrow and have it molded by Tuesday!

The base and connection with be one piece made out of resin and the post is fiberglass so it wont bend or flex.

Man those stands look great. PM sent! Need 4!

What have NECA said on Twitter about the 1:4 Elder? Are they correcting all the budgetary accuracy shortcomings of the smaller figure or just some of them?

No updated netting nor have they scaled up the newer P1-style body (with ball-jointed hips). That Elder could've been the best thing ever. Like... ever.

yeah I kind of feel the same way.

Besides the legs on P2 looks pretty ugly with the ball joints sticking out the way they do. Looks pretty bad to me.

I think I rather have the 1/4 preds to have the legs of P1

@Wolverenz, are you sure on the light up laser?
I dont think the use any light up feature.

The problem for me on the old body mold is, that this is for the P1.

Neca dont inprove this for the Elder.

For example the genital protection. The Elder have no loincloath on this. You se in the movie beside of this protection his skin and the belts to his leg armor.

I hope neca have revisted the musket and the feet.

Especially the netting is a shame.

Its broke easily, looks bad, cheap and its innacurate. with this, a nice figure looks cheaper.

@predarnold,your custom work is amazing. When neca use this as a reference, some things are better.

@Xander21, I am sceptically.
On twitter Neca says nothing to the netting and the false loincloath/missing belts on this.

The only thing that neca says, that they added the straps on the ellbows. But the big question is which material neca use for this. They can not use the same material as the P1 straps. The straps on the Elder looks like old leather.

Soft plastik ore a cheap leather-like materil would looking good.

I'm completely stoked for the big Elder, I don't sweat the small stuff.
