Oblivion - 9/10
This really exceeded my expectations. Easily one of the coolest-looking films I've seen in recent years. The soundtrack by M83 is fantastic...there's a few nods to Daft Punk's eargasmic work on Tron: Legacy, Kosinski's other film, which is nice.
Fine acting from Cruise and Freeman, as always. Andrea Riseborough is a bit 'meh', but Olga Kurylenko brings some much needed heart to the film. The twists are ones which you'd normally see coming, but Oblivion does such a great job of distracting you with amazing VFX, it manages to slip in a surprise or two...well, at least for me it did.

A really fun little Irish monster movie very much in the spirit of Tremors , Gremlins , and the more recent Slither. Well worth a watch if you liked the films mentioned.

Scary Movie 5 - 3/10
You can really see how much of a rush-job this was...soooo many editing inconsistencies. There were only a couple of laughs...and by "laughs" I mean that thing you do when someone says something amusing, but it's not really that funny, so you just kind of smile and exhale through your nose a little bit. Yeah, that.
So, it pretty much lived up to my expectations. Although, I'm worried for today's youth, because the group of teenagers up the back thought it was hilarious

Still wasn't acting. So I don't see what the point of making a nasty, hideously misguided definition of me.
That's not to say animation in general doesn't have some acting to it, but you can't say that WALL-E was an actor's doing. Am I not right? That was my problem with that comment. He's undermining actors over the work of hundreds of animators.
