Well, this is my last piece Ill order from SS unless its something I just gotta have. I feel bad because of what I was told, then passed onto you guys. Honestly had no idea they were gonna scrap it like that. And the excuse I got would just piss you guys off even more. Ill keep it to myself since I already look like a fool in pumping this piece up, and it completely flopping. I really thought SS was gonna hit a homerun with this, but instead they let a lot of people down. And really.....they dont care. The statue is nice and to me, as a Punisher fan, worth it. And $10 extra isnt gonna break me. And depending on whether or not the current head is removable or not.....Im gonna sculpt my own battle damaged head for it. Problem solved for me. Now.....Im done beating that dead horse.

Hey, any inside info is good to hear. I can't believe that some people were angry over some of your details being wrong. I welcome more tidbits of info in the future if you get 'em. And, I'd love to hear the lame excuse, too!

Personally, I thought the COH was kind of lame, and I would never have displayed it that way (I haven't ordered this one. I like it, just don't think I have room in my collection for it).

Since they botched the EX, base and lack of weapons, ES is the only thing to save this piece. The EX needs to be real low to justify the price and lack of features.

Low ES would justify:

A) The price increase
B) Omitted COH
C) Lame Ex petty Knife replacement

I think a good low Ex ES would be 500.

No should be 250 to 300. This makes up for the missing things and price hike.

why? the one and only head looks fine to me. the entire piece is quite striking. if you don't like it that is fine but why should this be an easy pass for most?

I think JAWS was referring strictly to the Ex (ordering directly/exclusively through SS). But people will order the Ex anyway because they don't have a problem with it or they want the Ex regardless of what it does and doesn't come with. I'm in the boat JAWS is talking about. Ex isn't enough to order RIGHT NOW directly/exclusively through SS giving up the $40 NRD IMO. The one and only head it does come with looks great like you said but I'll be ordering through another retailer at a cheaper price.

250-300 would be awesome! But lets be real... Those low ES just don't happen anymore unless its a blindside sucker punch like R2 and 3PO PF. I don't expect at all for it to be that low but that's be great!

well maybe SS can still make us happy! but it feels weird to really want this PF. Then now I'm only saying bad things about it. I wished the ex head came with it. I know it will never happen now. I guess reality is still kicking in. I may try to get a ex later inn the aftermarket. I bet I can get it for less than SS site. With all the missing things I can't see myself spending that kind of money on it. ok I know I'm going crazy over this. Nuff said......

You will never get an EX below Retail in the aftermarket.

Sorry to hear you don't like it man. Perhaps it'd grow on you quickly once you have it in hand. I like the fabric outfitted suit on this one. He looks straight from the comics and arcade games to statue form! Awesome!

Well I went ahead and PO the ex.
I love the classic look and being a huge Spider man fan to me this one felt right.
Honestly I stopped collecting Amazing Spider man books just shortly after issue 350 so the classic look is the one I most remember.
I know a few mentioned not being too crazy about his stance but having a more simple and tight pose is a huge plus for me with space .
Not having the ex head is still a bummer.

Sideshow will determine the ES based on the #s of orders they got, there is no way this will be 1250. I am thinking 500. Many people didn't order because of price increase and lack of COH.

It's weird that Deadpool can be displayed holding two guns and Punisher can't.

Yeah, isn't it? How hard would it have been to throw in a hand gun or a throw over the shoulder bazooka or attach some grenades to his outfit.

I don't have a problem with the weapon they chose because it will give you variety in your character displays and the weapons they have, BUT at least make it a big knife! I mean it's a dinky shank. C'mon man...

Wow, no extra head? REALLY? That was the main selling point to me. Now all I think of is "what could have been" if it came with the bd head. Why even tease it then, geez!

You're right about that. Also, (I hate to even say it) but his pose is almost feminine... it's the way his legs are positioned and the facial sculp is not intense enough. The only pic that looks good is #8 on the site. I'm a huge Pun fan and I think I'm passing on this.
