I know some have a problem with the wind blown effect...but in this case, it works really well IMHO.

I cancelled my order as they have told me several different excuses as to why it has not shipped yet, it was supposed to ship 2 weeks ago, then one week ago as "they had just enough to cover the flex orders" then they refund my final payment to re-charge it on the 5 may??? So I'll wait till it arrives in the shop. I'm disappointed with them as I had to cancel obi wan as they numbered them wrong and missed the light saber of. But Im using the money to buy an Ex Gandalf on ebay. I'm glad in a way as it does not look as good as the prototype. Might Just collect the fellowship!! Do they always delay and ****** things up?
I would have just waited. Its just a few more weeks. I want mine now but I'm not gonna cancel it because I've got to wait longer. Things with most companies get delayed a bit but they didn't mess anything up with this one. Its pretty darn superb.

I now know why there's such a long delay to ship these out. Sideshow took extra care in packaging up this one. Not only double boxing the shipper, but also cutting styrofoam and adding support to make sure nothing was broken. I applaud Sideshow for finally making a great effort to make sure this statue arrived in one piece.
Now my only complaint is that there seems to be a slight gap between the head and body.

(For the record, I'm not crazy about the super-swirly cloaks in this line either, but I do agree that it does work well for the wraiths.)

Though, honestly, I was shocked he wasn't damaged. UPS absolutely DEMOLISHED the outer shipping box. (There are two brown shippers on this one with about an inch of air space between them and eight spongy corner spacers.) Luckily the inner boxes were unmolested and the statue was in perfect shape!
While I dig the Morgul dagger as the exclusive, I'm definitely going to display him with the outstretched hand because the sculpting job they did on those long, bony fingers is just too cool to leave in the box.
They did a really nice job on this one.
